Marduk has fifty names.
Do the gods of other planets have a set of names also ?
Will these be revealed by passing through their gates?

You are right the seven planetary gods are known in many religions by many names. Nebo is Mercury, Hermes, Anubis Inanna is Ishtar, Venus, Aphrodite, Diana, Athena Demeter. Shammash is Apollo, Krishna Nergal is Mars, Ares.

By following the attributes of the seven planetary gods and their astrological correlations their names in other religions should be discovered. I am not well versed in Vedic astrology but I think Vedic astrology should shed much light on this subject. Vedic astrology is Indian astrology. I am still a newbie to the Sumerian or western astrology system having only studied it a couple of years. Vedic astrology is a unique system which seems to come up with the same answers as the western system.

Passing the gates is a process of self initiation in which mastery is gained over ones self as well as power over life in general.
It is a process that transforms you into a better person. If you try to walk the gates only to gain power you will fall into darkness and be consumed. We walk the gates to not only better ourselves but to better the world around us.

On to the 16th name. Bear with me as it is going to take some time to cover all 50 and I will be going back and addind things I missed in the previous names.

The sixteenth Name is Agaku Ahg-ahk-oo His word of calling is Mashgarzanna Mahsh-gahr-zahn-nah

Enuma Elish

Tutu, fourthly, let the people magnify as (16) AGAKU,
The lord of the holy charm, who revives the dead;
Who had mercy on the vanquished gods,
Who removed the voke imposed on the gods, his enemies,
(And) who, to redeem them, created mankind;
The merciful, in whose power it lies to grant life.
May his words endure, not to be forgotten,
In the mouth of the black-headed, whom his hands have created.

Rightly noted in the spellbook this spirit empowers seals amulets tailsmans magickal tools etc.

With this spirit I was able to extend the life of my grandfather who fell ill many times. Agaku can indeed give life to that which is already dead. I do not know the moral values of cheating fate by extending someones life who is clearly meant to pass on. However I found that I was not ready for my grandfather to pass and so I did not allow it. I believe this spirit can help the elderly hang on perhaps longer than they should. But what is the big rush to die anyways?

The seventeenth name is Tuku Too-koo, His word of calling is Mashshammashti Mahsh-shahm-mahsh-tee

Note the sun god Shammash in the word of calling which complies to the solar symbol of the cross being used in the sigil.

Enuma Elish

Tutu, fifthly, is
(I7) TUKU, whose holy spell their mouths shall murmur;
Who with his holy charm has uprooted all the evil ones.

In rare cases we may know that someone is attacking us but wish to not attack back out of pity. In that case use Tuku. Of course even if you decide to unleash hell on your antagonist still use Tuku.

The Necronomicon gives some excellent spells to use to stop others magickal attacks as well. One of the beautiful things about these bindings is it works our antagonists own evil against them in a defensive manner so that we need not fear repercussion. Whether you are a witch and believe in the law of three. Or like me and believe that every scientific law is also a magickal one <magick being unexplainable science> So each faction has an equal and opposite reaction. E=mc2. Using the following spells from the Necronomicon we do not have to worry about the rifle kicking our shoulder as we fire the bullet. So to speak. One of the nice things about the Necronomicon is there really are no curses except in the forbidden Urilla text. There is of course the charm to cause sickness on pg 212 but as in the urilla the mad arab is merely showing us the rites of our enemies so that we can have protection against them by our knowledge of those things.

pg 65 Conjuration of the Fire God. This is a awesome way to let Agni / Gibil take care of business for you.

Pg 215 one of my favorites as it invokes my goddess Inanna. Who Art Thou witch that seekest me? Appropriate if you are not sure who your attacker is. Also if someone is working a wicked tounge against you or plotting against you a great spell to expose and humiliate them.

pg 89 The binding of the evil sorcerers. In the introduction the sumerian version of this spell is given. Say it first in English and then in Sumerian.

pg 90 Another Binding of the sorcerers. In the introduction the sumerian version of this spell is also given. Say it first in English and then in Sumerian.

And when they really piss you off. pg 92 The conjuration of the mountains of Mashu. In the introduction the English version of this spell is given. Say it first in english and then in Sumerian.

You can use any of these spells without summoning the watcher and they will be very powerful. However if you wish to work perfect sorcery of a much higher octane summon Bandar and burn the aga mass ssaratu as the text instructs you to.

Last but not least The Conjuration Of The Water God in my How to summon Enki thread goes hand in hand with The Conjuration of The Fire God. If you want to attack by water and fire just conjure the water god first and not last so that he does not extinguish the flames of Gibil http://www.sacred-magick.org/index.php?act=ST&f=76&t=2305

This spirits seal is up on my wall right now as I seem to be engaging in a magickal battle.
<Long story. Moral chose your friends and mates wisely.>

I have found that using this spirit along with the 3rd spirit Marutukku works very well. Protection of body and soul if you will.

Don't forget about this one. You will be needing it the next time you piss off a witch. Or worse if you divorce one!

My friend Ashnook has a nice site on the 50 names which I have been adding some articles to. Check it out. http://necronomicon.sacred-magick.com/
If you are going to try to use the 50 names however please purchase the Necronomicon Spellbook by Simon. It has magickal properties of its own and no one should foolishly attempt to contact the 50 names without it!

In the Enuma Elish upon Tiamats death Marduk was given 50 names of power. No other Gods have such a myth. Although you can find different names for these Gods in different religions and myths.

The 18th name is Shazu Shahtz-oo His word of calling is Mashshananna Mahsh-shah-nahnnah

Nanna the moon god.

Enuma Elish

(18) SHAZU, who knows the heart of the gods, Who examines the inside;
From whom the evildoer cannot escape;
Who sets up the Assembly of the gods, gladdens their hearts;
Who subdues the insubmissive; their wide-spread [pro]tection;
Who directs justice, roots [out] crooked talk,
Who wrong and right in his place keeps apart.

To me this looks like a forehead two eyes and a crooked smile.

This seal as the book says is good to develop esp. This spirit and carrying this spirits seal will help you read other peoples minds.

I live in a city where many languages are spoken. This spirit helps me understand what people mean even though I do not understand what they are saying. A combination of careful observation and mind reading. This is a matter of understanding peoples intentions towards you. They might be speaking your language and lying their as_es off. Forget about what they are saying. What are they thinking? Watch those eyes. They are the windows to the soul.

The 19th name is Zisi Tzee-see Her word of calling is MashInanna Mash-Inanna.

Notice the name of Inanna my Goddess in the word of calling.

Enuma Elish

(19) (ig) Zisi,
Who silences the insurgent;
--------------
his fathers."'

Most of this is too badly damaged on the tablet to be made out.

Note I said her and not his as the text gives. Thats because this spirit appears to me as female and not male.
<Once again I have never actaully looked between a spirits legs to determine its sex so I a m judging by the energy.> (IMG:style_emoticons/default/head_hurts_kr.gif)

Indeed this spirit can patch things up in your love life. Just be sure its worth patching up. I have used this spirit in the past to patch up an impossible relationship and it always worked. Looking into the past I would like to slap myself for not having just moved on like I should have. Almost a year to the day from splitting with her I still have a psycho stalker that will not leave me alone.
These spirits really work. So just make sure you really want something before you ask for it. Sometimes once you get something you discover that you did not really want it.

Anything that contains the Goddess Inannas name you can bet the bank is powerful in love.

The Twentieth name is Suhrim, Sooh-reem His word is Mashshannergal Mahsh-shahn-geyr-gahl.

Notice Nergal mars the war god and king of the underworld in the word of calling.

Enuma Elish

20 Shazu is, thirdly, SUHRIM, who with the weapon roots out all enemies
Who frustrates their plans, scatters (them) to the winds; Who blots out all the wicked ones who tremble before him.

Ocassionally Suhrim shows up unbeckoned just to kick it. At first it was a bit un-nerving considereing he is a spirit that deals death. Now I do not view this spirit as evil because of its nature. I view it as a mighty angel filled with gods wrath against evil doers. In that Suhrim is one with myself.

His shape looks like the number 2 or a cobra drawn back and ready to strike.

Although the mad arab is warns us pretty sternly that Suhrim kills easily. From my experiance he can be sent on missions of punishment. In other words a good way to curse someone is to send Suhrim after them. Don't send Suhrim after anyone that you would be upset over if they ran into an unfortunate accident. Once he appeared to me and told me that someone I knew was about to die. A word of caution. If you are a jerk hole and send Suhrim to destroy someone who in truth is not deserving of such a judgement. He might turn on you.

At times in the past I have saved the pictures of hostages in Iraq from newspapers. The aga, arra and bandar signs I have put on the pictures as long as the 20th 21st and 23rd seal. This has been with great success. Most recently when I did this after a period of months Jill Carrol was released. So I think it would be very hasty to say that this is a spirit of bad intentions.

MashAallah

The 21st name is Suhgurim, Sooh-goo-reem. His word of calling is Mashshadar Mahsh-shahdahr

This is the apparent little brother of Suhrim as in many ways they have shown themselves connected

Enuma Elish

(21) Shazu is, fourthly, SUHGURIM, who insures... a hearing,
Creator of the gods, his fathers,
Who roots out the enemies, destroys their progeny;
Who frustrates their doings, leaving nothing of them.
May his name be evoked and spoken in the land!

Turn your book ninety degrees to the left and look at the seal. Now it looks like the Grim Reapers sickle with a hand rising up from the grave.

Like his big brother Suhrim he kicks ass and takes names. Or perhaps takes names and kicks ass. When working with war like spirits such as these I like to give as much detail to the spirit as possible. Full name and address. Go get em! From my experiance I have not witnessed people dropping off like flies and dying. My enemies however I do not hear from for long periods of time which makes me think these spirits work up much grieve in thier lives. My cousin was having problems with a guy and he invoked Suhgurim. He envisioned bad things happening to the guy. The guy was knocked off the dock where he was working by a boom and injured. After recovering he got a new job doing masonry work. The scaffolding collapsed and he was seriously injured. This guy developed a sudden fear of my cousin who had promised to curse him. No more problems out of him after that. Perhaps telling someone that you are cursing them has a way of eating at the mind after unfortunate events are experianced.

While the other gods do not have 50 names like Marduk, you will encounter various spirits in each Gate (once you pass it and begin working with it) that you can work with for a multitude of purposes.

The twenty second name is Zahrim Tzah-reem His word of calling is Mashtagarannu. Mash-shah-gahr-ahn-noo

Enuma Elish

(22) Shazu, fifthly, they shall praise as ZAHRIM, the lord of the lit4ng,
--------------
[pur]sues the evil;
Who all the fugitive gods brought home to their shrines. May this his name endure!

Turn the book ninety degrees to the right. Now behold the Earth a strom cloud and lightning connecting the two.

Zahrim kicks ass. Enough said.

THe 23rd name is Zahgurim Tzah-goo-reem. The word of calling is Mashtishaddu, Mash-tee-shah-doo

To Shazu, moreover, they shall, sixthly, render all honor
--------------
(23) as ZAHGURIM,
Who all the foes destroyed as though in battle.

Looks like a man vomiting with the sun on his back.

A slow horrible death? Sounds like plauge. Stock up on Tamiflu. The Bird-Flu looms.

The 24th name is Enbilulu Eyn-beel-oo-loo His word of calling is Mashshanebbu Mahsh-shahn-eyb-boo

Enuma Elish

(24) ENBILULU, the lord who makes them flourish, is h . e , The mighty one who named them,
who instituted roastofferings;
Who ever regulates for the land the grazing and watering places;
Who opened the wells, apportioning waters of [... ].

Looks like an anchor or dowsing stick.

Again these old water spirits can be used in modern times to stimulate financial growth.

The 25th name is Epadun. Ey-pah-doon

Enuma Elish

(25) Enbilulu, secondly, they shall glorify as EPADUN,
The lord who sprinkles the field,
Irrigator"' of heaven and earth, who establishes seedrows,
Who plow land and grazing land,
Dam and ditch regulates, who delimits the furrow;

This one is a bit abstract. Start with the circle. It is the mans head. His back is bent curving towards the ground. His arm is extended as he plants a seed. An irigation pipe or pump extends over his head.. The line coming towards his back from above is water. The simular line to the far left is water. It represents irragation.

This seal is good for making money and learning to increase ones flow of energy. Increasing that flow of energy supplies more power for magick.

Distilliate has spoken wisely. Indeed all of the spirits which begin with Asaru seem to be canidates as Asaru is the eye on the throne. The all seeing eye which knows all. We have such an eye ourselves our third eye. By opening the third eye of knowledge we eneble ourselves to recieve knowledge straight from the source. I think eventually all who embark on this path start to recieve knowledge in this manner. Aranunna the 39th name is however the best teacher of my experiance. He is not the only one though. The others I will mention as we come to them in thier order.

Peace!

The 26th name is. Enbilulugugal Eyn-beel-ool-oog-oog-ahl.

Enuma Elish.

(26) Enbilulu, thirdly, they shall praise as ENBILULU-
--------------
GUGAL, The irrigator of the plantations of the gods; Lord of abundance, opulence, and of ample crops, Who provides wealth, enriches all dwellings, Who furnishes millet, causes barley to appear.

Lets note that the Spellbook does not mention <Providing wealth>. I detected this use before I first read the Enuma Elish.

It looks like an 8-rayed sun in a bowl of the earth. Perhaps it is a rising sun.

Anyone who has contacted or will contact any of the 50 names please tell us of your experiances.

The 27th name is Hegal Hey-gahl. His word of calling is Burdishu Boor-dee-shoo

Enuma Elish.

Enbilulu is (27) HFGAL, who heaps up abundance for the people's consumption;...
Who causes rich rains over the wide earth, provides vegetation.

To me this looks somewhat like one of the planetary spirit signs found in works of ceremonial magick.

In my experiance very powerful for gaining the love of another or anything you might expect from the Goddess of love Inanna.

Many minds are objectinable to love spells. I used this spirit and the 30th name Gil to help gain the love of my wife.

Let me say that it is foolish to try and work love magick on someone that is obviously not interested in you. However before you go out on that first date there is nothing wrong with a little magick to make your self more attractive.

Use with the love spell on pg 111. Not the one to recover potency. That one should be used in conjunction with viagra! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/banana.gif)

The 28th name is Sirsir Seer-seer His word of calling is Apirikubabadazuzukanpa. Ah-peereek-oob-ahdah-tzoo-tzoo-kahnpah

Lets note that one of the guardians of knowledge is mentioned as well as kanpa <remember> in the wors of calling.
Pirik is the spirit of the lightning bolt which is one of the weapons of Marduk. Notice that the Enuma ELish speaks of this weapon.

Enuma Elish

(28) SIR. SIR,"" who heaped up a mountain over her, Tiamat,
Who the corpse of Tiamat carried off with his weapon; Who directs the land-their faithful shepherd; Whose hair is a grain field, his horned cap furrows;
Who the wide-spreading Sea vaults in his wrath, Crossing (her) like a bridge at the place of single combat.

The spellbook tells us that we can harness the sexual urge for greater magick power using this seal. Through my experiance this is done by practicing celibacy. That might prove easier if you are single. If you have a mate then its safe to say you will not be practicing celibacy any time soon. Turn the seal upside down and use it to build up power during sex magick. Some things being personal lets just say that it will be quite an experiance.

The 29th name is Malah M-Ahlah His word of calling is Bachachadugg Bah-ahch-ach-ahd-oog

Enuma Elish

(29) MALAH-and so forth-"'
Tiamat is his vessel and he the rider.

Malah is powerful and can punish your enemys and answer your prayers. Very powerful for protection It is notable that he cut the dragon in half as Marduk cut Tiamat in half to make the heavens and earth. As Yahweh or Jehovah cut Leviathan in half to make the heavens and earth in the bible book of Job.

In Sumerian Alla means god. See Necronomicon pg xlix. Alla is pronounced Ahl-lah. Yahweh or Jehovah is Allah. This spirit is probably the best one to contact Marduk in his Allah or Yahweh / Jehovah aspect.

The 30th name is Gil Geel His word is Aggabal Ahg-gah-bahl

Enuma Elish

(30) GIL, who stores up grain heaps-massive mounds
Who brings forth barley and millet, furnishes the seed of the land.

From what the Enuma Elish says it sounds good for farmers. The Necronomicon spellbook tells us that Gil makes women give birth.
I have used this seal to help someone who had ovarian cysts. It lessened the pain and the operation was a complete success when the cysts were removed. Anything to do with the female reproductive system this is good for. Also good for love magick.

Looks like a mirror image <reversed> of Bandars sigil with a line drawn through it.

The 31st name is Gilma Geel-mah His word of calling is akabal ahk-ah-bahl.

Enuma Elish

3I) GILMA, who makes lasting the lofty abodef the gods,
Creator of security,
The hoop that holds the barrel together, who presents

That hoop is the sacred circle. The circle is the perfect shape. The number 360 is the perfect number. Gilma knows so much because he is connected to that sacred hoop. Ashnook is a friend of Gilma. Lets see what Ashnook says about this one.
I did not need this one back in high school. Varsity athlete = automatic B average. I reccomend this one for anyone who has to study. I have never called Gilma as of yet.

Bandar knocks on the wall as I write this. He knows his 3:00 am sacrifice is coming up. I am blogging my progress as I empower Bandar with the 50 names in my blog.

The 33rd name is Zulum Zoo-loom Word of calling Abbabaal ahb-bah-bah-ahl

Enuma Elish

(33) ZULUM, who designates the fields
Who grants portions and food-offerings, tends [the ...
--------------
Who destroys all adversaries, who maintains . . . good things.

From the Enuma Elish we know this spirit to be a warrior who destroys all advesaries. True to the Necronomicon spellbook I have successfully called him many times to help me in my work make money.

The Sumerian words for date (zulum) and date palm (gishimmar)

The 34th name is Mummu Moom-Moo. Word of calling is Alalalabaaal Allah-lallah-bah-ah-ahl

Enuma Elish

(34) Mummu (thunder or roaring of the sea), creator of heaven and earth, who directs [... ].
The god who sanctifies heaven and earth is, secondly,

Mummu
In Sumerian mythology, Mummu is the craftsman god. He is attendant to Ea and Apsu's vizier. Ea is the Babylonian name for Enki.

A good patron diety for blacksmiths, craftsmen and jewelry makers. He is Enkis Vizier so we know he gives good counsel.

Vizier = A high officer in a Muslim government, especially in the Ottoman Empire. My wife is Turkish <Ottoman> and it is pretty neat how many words of the Necronomicon have simular Turkish meanings. Also the way the letters are pronounced is the same. Of course Turkey nieghbors Iraq so we are talking about the descendents of the Sumerians. I am pagan to the bone. I do recognise Allah however as being Marduk / Shiva / Yahweh / Zues. Alla <Ahl-lah> in Sumerian means God. Not surprising that the descendents of the Sumerians still use the word Alla for god.

This spirit is great for learning to use energy. From rieki to pranayama / Psi vampirism contact Mummu.

It is unfortunate that so much of the attributes of the 50 names in the Enuma Elish is lost. Hopefully they will dig up some clay tablets eventually and fill in the gaps. So far through the 50 names we have only seen rare incedents of a name differing between the Spellbook and the Enuma Elish. We have however seen much attributed to the spirits that is not in the spellbook. That along with my personal experiance is the reason for this thread. As well as to hear the experiances of others.

The 35th name is Zulumar Zoo-loom-mahr His word of calling is Anndarabaal Ahnn-dahrah-Bah-ahl

Enuma Elish

35) ZULUMMAR,
Whom no other among the gods can match in strength.
--------------
(35) GISHNUMUNAB, creator of all people, who made the (world) regions,
Destroyer of the gods of Tiamat; who made men out of their substance.

--------------
He gives the strength of 10 men. He has 2 names in the Enuma Elish. His second name tends to implicate that since he made men out of the substance of the old gods <Blood of Kingu> then perhaps he could make the priest more god like.

I was going to bind Zulummar to Bandar last night but Agaku visited me and I left the physical world for 15 1/2 hours under Agakus spell. This is recorded in my blog and would be out of context to put here. I can say that what I am doing with Bandar and the 50 names is having a very powerful effect on me.

Here is a note on the empowering of Bandar whith the power of Zulummar.

Tonight now that the previous names were chosen wisely I will call on Zulummar. May Bandar be as strong as 10 Bandars as Zulummar #35 gives the strength of 10 men. So if enpowered by the 50 names may bandar be as strong as 500 hundred Bandars. May he grow in power. I want my magick to stay strong and become stronger. I work out my muscles in the gym I want to work out my spirit as well. May my spirit become strong under the yoke of master Enki. May we become one and grow in power.

At this point Bandars word of calling has become BandarZikuAgakuMarruka. The previous 3 names and experiance has been recorded in my blog.

I would like to thank everyone for the high member reputation ratings I have gotten of of this 50 names section. I do plan to continue going through the 50 names but I have been bombarded with so much additional information since I undertook experimental empowerment of Bandar with the powers of the 50 names I have been reluctant until this point to continue. Procrastination a skill long mastered I will now resume.

The 36 name is Lugalabdubur

Word of calling is Agnibaal

Enuma ELish
(36) LUGALABDUBUR, the king who frustrated the work of Tiamat, Rooted out her weapons;
Whose foundation is firm in front and in the rear.

Simons Necronomicon says the destroyer of the Gods of Tiamat.

Simons Necronomicon Spellbook says it increases self confidence which any magician must have alot of. Gives the agility of a fencer and the acuity of a chess player.

From my experiance this is a close cousin of Malah and Zulummar.

He is excellent for magickal defense and increasing ones magickal strength and speed.

This spirit could be used with Zulummar to increase power both physical and spiritual as well as health. <Power is strength + speed.
