Faerie Windows or Portals

Rarely, I see a window open up, usually high on the wall near the ceiling. It opens, the light is brilliant, sometimes I see a faerie (blurry sphere of light) fly into it, and then it closes. The whole thing takes about half a second.

Honestly.

It looks so much like the door Al uses in that old TV show, Quantum Leap, I'd think someone was joking if I hadn't seen this myself, several times.

The light is generally white, with a bit of yellow and lime green (X-Files green) added to it.

There are some horizontal bands where the amount of light and color varies.

I would guess that the windows are approximately 9"x12", horizontal.

The edges are slightly blurry, but I'm not sure if that's just how I perceive it because the light is so bright.

The edges are certainly crisper than the way the spheres of light appear.

These windows rarely open in the same spot on the wall, twice in a row. They can open in different rooms, and on different walls. I don't think these are stationary portals.

I've never seen anything emerge from the window; something always flies into it, or it opens and closes and I don't see anything coming or going.

Then again, the whole process is so fast, I don't even have time to point it out to anyone else in the room.

Others have seen this phenomenon in our home, but it's very rare compared with the frequency with which we see the spheres of light.

I'm never afraid when I see the window open. My immediate reaction is pure fascination.

Also, I'm steadily impressed with how much it looks like Quantum Leap.

i have no experience with the kind of doorway you're describing, but i know that the elven star acts as a kind of portal or CoP, especially when drawn in the sand, in a location where you can enter or stand upon it.

Greetings! Have you tried sending a psychic 'eye' through the portal? What you describe is very similar to the things cats see (and disappear into...)I have some small experience in using a couple of shamanic techniques for crossing over to Faery. I can assure Daev that Faerie doorways do exist .... I have described a similar type of portal being created before me many years ago .... one which entities were trying me to step through ... (seriously) .... it was overshadowing my bedroom door .... was essentially a large rectangular portal of white which had the frequency of purple within it .... so there was a purple tint to the white light ....

The doorways are created (I glean from conversations past) by Faerie Necromancers creating a thought form entry into this dimension from their own dimension ... faerie will appear momentarily as an tiny speck of blue light (which I call a Sphere Of Blue) which is the projected consciousness first making its way into this dimension ....

The portals or doorways are sometimes seen as different shapes according to the elements, so if yours is a square, it may be connected to the earth element and the colour yellow or with a green hue is used, which I see you have.

If you stare at it until you see a halo around it, which I think you have also done since you see it as blurry, try and either go towards it or enlarge it enough to pass through it and see what happens.

Being one of the world's most sceptical and critical individual (believe it or not) in all matters of the hidden ... I spent countless hours analysing each and every possibility ....

I dismissed the phenomena almost immediately ... but further occurrences in different places and at different times of the day ... defied my logical brain.

The occurrence in question took place late afternoon ... the day was overcast and my curtains were drawn. No sunlight was present in my room. The brown oak veneered door began to glow then took on a purple colouration ... at the same time something or someone had switched on my heart chakra and I was totally overcome with emotion. I was in tears during the phenomenon and for days afterwards.

I'd discussed it with some learned friends at the psychic centre I visited at the time. I was told that it was some kind of spiritual portal/doorway ... at the time I knew not about the sidhe or had been visited prior to this point. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/00000052.gif)

I have also seen these doorways.
Not the brilliant light, but at times I hear music, and at times I see them watch me from close by their guarded gate.
Once I was invited in, but was too scared to go.
I really thought that I would not return.
I don't know if this sight we share is a blessing or a curse.
