The Aurum Solis among others have a tradition called the Ogdoatic.
I have been reading some about it but have a hard time finding more.

Does anyone know a bit?

Hi.

Sorry, I don't know anything about it. I read some about A.S a few years back, but they never held my interest. For info you might to try esotericarchives. com. I've found some great things there, and last I checked, it's all free. Good luck.

Here is a helpful link:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ogdoad

Basiclly, ogdoatid/ogdoadic means they used the Ogdoad, which is an Egyptian thing. In short, 8 gods, broken into male-female pairs. You can probably glean more off the Wikipedia. It's a great place for all sorts of info.

Good luck!

On a black throne reigns upright,
I have reached these lands but newly
From an ultimate dim Thule-
From a wild clime that lieth, sublime,
Out of SPACE- out of TIME.

I know about the Ogdoad of Egypt as well as the Ennead (aqnother group of Gods) and it sounds reasonable that it would be a part of A.S.

However the tradition uses a Ogdogram and so on that was a bit interasting but nothing is explained about what is ascribed to it.

Khenti_Amenti - I suggest getting a copy of the book:

Title: Foundations of High Magick
Author: Melita Dennings, Osbourne Phillips

That book explores the Ogdoadic approach according to the Aurum Solis - and can be inexpensively acquired in hardcover form from amazon.com

Sounds like a plan.
Thanks.
