How do hear the voice of the entity during evocati, during evocation of spirits Options

Hello sirs/madam,

I just want to ask a question Nero, and other people who have engaged in evocation of spirits ,using the astral evocation(dark mirrior).
.
1.How do you the magician percieve/hear the voice of the entity.
2.Has anybody in this forums ,has ever uses a secret ritual given to him to summon familar spirits easily, or to summoned the entity easily, i.e Gnomes or Undines.
3.I will be doing evocation, and this is my format of ritual, LBRP, LIRP AND opening watchtower.
hexagram ritaul is out.

4.Has anyone gains some real benefits from evocation,as claim by authors of evocation books.

1. Meditation and practicing with your psychic senses. You sort of "hear" them in a psychic sense. Some folks "feel" or get impressions of what they are saying, and some folks "see" what is being relayed to them. I have found that it is different for each person.

2. Yes. And if you think I am going to give out this ritual you are dreaming LOL. However if you ask the spirits that you work with they might give you one (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

3. How come no hexagram ritual? I have found that with Enochian entities it works better to leave out the hexagram rituals, but with the Kabbalistic entities, I have found it better to leave that one in.

4. Yes. I don't know what the authors claim, it has been some time since I have read books on evocation, but yes many results are definatly possible. If you look through the Goetia section you might find some posts by myself and others about our results.

Asking about voice only? Well mostly in my head. The voice has at times been faint enough that I could argue that it was only in my head, i.e. me speaking to myself and at other times it has been so loud and clear that I could of sworn that it was out loud.

I have asked a spirit just that question before. I was told they are all around me and to just look. Take that answear as you will.

Then I have asked other spirits FOR a familer instead of asking HOW to contact one and that was much more effective. I have been given other rituals before that have been very effective that did not involve familers.

Yes. See my thread about the evocation of Zulum in the Nec forum for details of just one such working.

Learn to consciously shut off your mind via meditation (if you practice mantrayoga, substitute the name of the entity and use it as a mantra). Once you feel something talking inside you're head and you're conscious of the fact that you're not actually 'thinking' it up, it's probably the spirit (especially if it takes place right after an evocation).

Ever got a song 'stuck in your head'? Well, it's sort of like that.

Practice doing that enough and it will become real enough to feel as though it was actually there.

Middle Pillar and any chakra awakening ritual helps out too.

P.S. Make sure to learn a good banishing ritual and to be confident of it as the voice might not shut off for months(aka, you go crazy)---scary part of occultism.

My experience has been of getting clear impressions and either being shown things symbolically or hearing voices.

I have not been able to manifest anything physically though.

It seems to be quite a clear thing, one day you cannot do it and the next it happens as though you have been doing it for all of your life.

It is sometimes hard to know when hearing if it is your mind or the voice of the summoned entity, however, it is generally the first impressions and sounds that are theirs, before your own mind interferes with it all.

Don't worry if you just get one very loud word at times, that may be all that you will get and I would not consider it a failure on your part as a beginner.

Another thing is that if you don't practice for some months, you can 'lose' some of your ability, or at least, that is my own finding.

Also, if what you hear doesn't make sense, write it down because later on, say in a few weeks or months time, it is likely to be very clear what was being said at that time as it will have either come true or you will find it in a book or something.

I remember the the first time I received a loud response. It was not during an evocation however. It surprised me at how clear and how loud it was. Three words.. "turn right here". I ended up exactly where I had to be too. :-)

I have had this problem as well, not so much a problem but confusion. At first I had a hard time deciding if the voices in my mind were mine or something else. Radiant Star makes a good point here that it is generally the first impression or sounds that are theirs before your own thoughts. I think this point is key, I will usually hear the voice of the spirit before my own mind can try to interject something. I'm trying to explain this clearly, you will hear the voice of the spirit before you have time to question wether is was a spirit or just rambling of you own mind.

I'd suggest doing a lot of "void / no thought" meditation to learn how your mind works - when it is silenced, get familiar with it and finally be able to better differentiate various thoughts if it's coming from your own mind or not.
