The book above by Robert Bruce has practical advices and case studies of psychic attack that is understandable to people without an occult background. It is very easy to read, clear and again, very practical tips and advices. It discusses hauntings, poltergeist, cold spots, natural remedies, banishings and a bunch of other interesting read! It is interesting to note when reading the section on how the attack progresses that I somehow notices opposite hints and ideas on how to perform the attack myself! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Oh well, just like if you study medicine, if you know how to heal you'll get an idea how to inflict them yourself.

I'm currently reading an "older" book on the same subject by Denning and Phillips of the similar title. I've only began to read it a few days ago but so far I'm loving it! They wrote it more from an occult point of view, so it pretty much compliment and builded up on my knowledge from the previous book nicely.

I have the Bruce and the Denning books too; Bruce packed a lot more in and I found him easy to read too; he made it sound interesting and a little disturbing at some points as well (IMG:style_emoticons/default/i_triangle.gif)

The Denning book seems much more basic and if I had to choose between them, I would take the Bruce!

You know, I actually want to get my hand's on a copy of the Bruce book. When faced with the choice a couple of years ago, I bought the Denning and Philips book. I must say, it is of the highest quality. I agree that it is "basic", but like many things that are basic, the ideas expressed and the learnings gained are of the highest integral importance, and enable you to really grasp more advanced techniques learned elsewhere. (Or figured out by yourself) I would heartily suggest the Denning and Phillips book first, before I would then reccomend certain sections of Tactical Magick (for example, since I have read that book, but not the Bruce book)

Kinjo, you think you could do a full review of the Bruce book for us? I've been putting off a review of the Denning and Phillips book for awhile now, and honestly it's the one book in my library that I feel like doing a review for, lol! Perhaps I'll do it piecemeal, then upload the finished product (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) lol!
