Greetings,

You can either read directly from the book or print out the spells. Ir is good to memorize as much as you can but it is really not neccessary.

Peace

The main reason I would like to remember as much of an incantation as possible is I can make it "mine", meaningit is a part of me and when I say ti/vibate it I am saying it w/ force and conviction due to my association w/ the material. Plus, pages in books have a tendency to turn inconveniently. The spells I know from heart are usually more effective because of my personal association w/ it--it is a part of me. But memorization of these spells is a great mountain to climb indeed! So, just read em for now, but the more you speak them and feel them--the more they become a part of you.....

When you are working magickally, you are often entering into a different state of consciousness, when you return to read a book or do something more in the physical realm, you are disrupting your flow and hence weakening that state iin my opinion, so yes, it is much better to be able to memorise, but these things take time, no hurry, you will start to remember the things you use the most.
