Goetic Spirits, Spirits, Physical Manifestation Options

Dear Goetic and spirit evokers,

I had a question concerning physical manifestation. How is it that a spirit takes shape on the physical plane? Do they actually use insence particles to manifest, or is it a trick of the mind, or a little bit of both? The infamous magician Aleister Crowely confesses that it took him much time to evoke a spirit to the physical plane by the use of insence. Do we see and hear spirits because they actually appear, or is it in the end, all in our heads? How do they show up for you when an attempt is made to call them to physical appearance (this, I hear takes a couple years of practice). I hold that for magicians, calling a spirit to physical manifestation is the most fantastical and glorious of all the techniques. Please let me know what your opinion is about how a spirit manifests.

First thing, it may be false from what I read and hear. Aleister was not successfull in manifesting a spirit to the physical plain with just the use of incense smoke. He tried very hard and very long, but to my knowing was unsuccessfull in this attempt. Second, again to me knowedge, the spirits of the Goetia use our reflection in the dark mirror and manifest it into there own image. The spirits are as alive as you or me. With my expirence they use our reflexion to show themselfs on a physical level. I hope this has answered your question.

You cannot really get a physical manifestation when using a skrying mirror. The skrying method is accessing the astral not the physical. Also the own reflection thing is used only by one or 2 groups, and it recommended against by most.

yes,you can get a fisical,,material manifestation in the smoke...if all the preparations are correct...

The best way to describe AC.s' skill is he could obtain manifestations w/o full-blown materializations.
For instance, he could dimly discern a half-helmeted figure in the smoke for an instant.
It was the arrival of Neuremberg in his life that propelled things otherwise.
