Broken Record, need some advice Options

Yes, I know that you have probably heard all of this before but I need some help starting out. I haven't read any books yet and that is where you come in. The only book that I have seen that looked good for beginners is Modern Magick by Kraig. any other suggestions. I am like a blank sheet of paper here so any suggestions?

I mean if I wanted a cookery book, I would need to state English, Thai, Indian cuisine...

personally i advise you to not read donalds book yet.

A mage should start with a firm and stable mind first. It is the gift that keeps on giving.
Consult the great list of ebooks on www.buddhanet.net. They are free and will keep you busy for some time.
It will center and ground your mind, making it a stable foundation. After that you can really get started with donalds book with a secure and sane mind.
