I just came upon a site that talks about the various kinds/forms/branches of Necromancy. Now I do not know if this information is based on complete facts or not, but I guess that's also why im posting, so you(more expert) than I am can see for yourselves and leave any comments. I believe this is the most informative site on Necromancy i've found thus far.

here's the link:

I haven't done any necromancy things, but i'm interested in this, but i think that site is one of the best there is, IMO, i think you can learn a lot about necromancy from that.

You may also want to check out this site too, the edittedwhich is run by the same guy who created the necromancy site, the library of knowledge, IMO, is one of the best Occult sites there is, it talks about what beginning Occultists should learn, about fitting into a particular caste and it has different pages for various magical castes (e.g. necromancy, sorcery, celestial magic, satanic magic, elemental magic, enchanting, etc).

You should also check out the (editted)forum, on the site [/url] too, as there's some knowledgable people on there.

Hope this helps (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif).

An update on the site:

Whilst browsing and lurking I "think" I found the head page of the site. It seems to be made poorly by html, though im not too sure for I know nothing about website design, but here is a more "informative" link:

Actually nope, I didn't make the library of knowlege site (one only has so much free time <G>). I did write a few essays for the nightshademagic site when I owned it tho (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif). The necromancy page is mostly warnings and personal experiences, with some information on working with the ancestors. This isn't going to be popular, but when I was taught necromancy, I was also taught that it is not for the masses (ie public websites) for many reasons. However I would say those who are naturally talented at it, and do go and talk with the dead become very good at it even without teaching.

If one is really interested in Necromancy I recommend older sources (such as Greek and Egyptian and so on) as well as practices stemming from about any country besides north america LOL. Well unless you go with the native americans that is, they have a very rich practice that deals with the ancestors. Fortunatly your ancestors and the deads are the best teachers in this art. Just keep in mind that they didn't get any smarter or more honest after they died LOL.

Oops, meant to post a sentance and now have an entire essay here..
