i have found writing your sigil upon a ciggarette
with a non toxic marker or pen doesn't matter
really helps launch your sigils and charges them at the same time

while looking at it back and forth of course

anynoe else do this?

i think this would especially work in the morning
when you smoke
for some people get really light headed

I read that suggestion somewhere on OF. I really don't reccomend it in the morning. I'm a smoker & I almost passed out smoking in the morning on my way to the gym. No good. Even if you're not moving, lightheadedness=something wrong. Unless you're a druggie chaote that messes themselves up, anyway.

::Edit:: A better alternative to trying to get lightheaded is just smoking an herbal blend that puts you in a relaxed mood. Tons of online shops sell herbal smoke for this purpose.

Man, when I used to smoke I loved my morning cigarette..it went well with coffee..mmm. Java and cigs, the breakfast of champions. (Course I had been smoking for a looong time too.) Now, I don't think I could handle it LOL.

Actually I've heard of this. My husband knew someone that would create talismans and draw them on cigarette papers and roll a *cough* "cigarette" and smoke it, thus inhaling the magic of the talisman. You could actually make a few cigarettes (yes tobacco) and then charge them and smoke them at different intervals. Maybe during the correct hour of the day for three consecutive days.

After reading about the method on OF, I actually used it to quick smoking last October.

I know, lol!

I look forward to using the method with a "J" though, lol! I actually had forgotten about it.

Druggie chaote? On behalf of druggies and I guess chaotes, I object to that snarky comment.

It seems that so many "body is a temple" types are KOd by such dreadfully commonplace menaces such as salt, sugar and processed flour. Frankly, it is a wonder they made it to adulthood and I don't think they will fair well in apocalyptic times.

I may have my habits, and I may be messed up at times, but experimentation with the body's chemical balance has served to protect me from being felled by a piece of red meat or an unexpected paradigm shift. You would be hard pressed to find a tradition that did not use some substance or physical practice to induce an altered state and it is dismissive to deny the validity of these paths from an apparent state of ignorance.

Greetings bleachXlight,

I like this idea. I plan to try it to help me further connect to my Bandar. Good one bro.

i first got this idea while watching FLCL (fooley cooley)
and Mamimi writes "Never Knows Best" on her cigs LOVE IT

so then i just decided to write spells in pencil on my cig and then the sigil

i recited the words smoked it and glared at the sigil
much Success!

and not being mean or anything but cigs in the morning personally make me lightheaded
and alot of other people as well

but of course everyone isn't the same
what a lovely world we live in

It would be hypocritical for me to say anything about the health impact of smoking, but I will say that I think my generation will be the last generation that sees cigarettes be legal for our entire life. Sooo, I it might be a good idea to keep your smoking down to a habit you can quit when the health nazis step in and ban it entirely. Apparently, some people can't confine their efforts to their own interests.

I have prepared some marked cigarettes myself and I will report back about the effects.

there are other things besides ciggs that give you lung cancer
walk outside

non smokers are just as likely to get lung cancer as smokers are

carbon monoxide and all the other stuff we put into the air!

come on?

anyways i think i'm gonna jump on that sigil

i need a quick result right about now

My steam roller had a sigilized frog on it. Too bad the cops had to take it away. But for the most part I'm too lazy to take the time to write out a design on each and every square or even one or two. I'd just as soon smoke it as fast as my lighter can toke it.

steam roller = pipe with a hand-carb

square = a rolling paper in this instance... i think.

imo, its a cool idea, but instead of ink i'd rather use something natural and smokeable (wink wink) to mark the paper.

Hey Vulnera! Welcome to SM hun (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) You're right about the Steamer actually, and for the square, rofl, I just realised how funny it is that we're confused over terms we're trying to use, but we KNOW what we're talking about. And I agree with that "natural" ink too. Ha-sh- ISH (God Bless me with Oil) I have a cold.

LOL!

thanks so much for your welcome, mr frater moderator... its very good to see you here too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sun.gif)

notice how i say natural (wink wink) and you knew exactly without a doubt what "ink" i meant...

you know the saying "great minds..." comes to my mind right about now. muaahahahah.

pollen appears to be a really good offering too from several tradition's perspectives, so, if it was handy i might consider adding some decorative pollen "glitter" as well... to beautify the offering, of course.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for this smoking method of Sigil launching. I've heard of it before but it was only after reading this thread that I was inspired to try it.

It worked like a charm...and only took 2 days to manifest my desire (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

You guys kick ass...

Not a new idea by any stretch but still an effective technique for launching/disposal.

I used to do this a fair bit, especially when I was working with martial energies.

Then I quit smoking....

for some people get really light headed

I have found that on occasion that it is useful to draw a sigil of an entity on a cigarette to aid with the invocation, but it is quite limited in it's usefulness as it is difficult to find a "cigarette-friendly" entity outside of ones own creation.

I can see the usefulness of the gnosis produced by light headedness in the sending of the sigil, however I am very rarely rendered light headed when smoking an so will find it difficult in the testing of this particular form of launching. I think I may try not smoking for a few days and then try it myself. I'll post the results of the experiment when I have them. Thanks for the Idea.
