 Introduction, A Bit about my background

Dia dhaoibh,

I thought I would introduce myself to you all. My name is Maya (but everybody calls me Ciannait) and I am 30 years old, I am a mix of many cultures. I was born to a Kuwaiti (arabic) mother and a father who is a mix of english/scottish/Irish. I was born a Moslim but by the age of 15 I knew it was not a religion for me, it was not wrong, just not for me. I started looking around and found Wicca, and for five years I studied that getting my three degrees in Eclectic Wicca but something still felt wrong. I went one year to visit my father in England when I was 20 and we took a little trip through Scotland, and Ireland and I fell in love. I went home and read all I could about the history of Ireland and little by little I was drawn to Celtic Paganism, and started to study the folklore, stories, and history. I feel like I still have not learned anything and I would like to learn from people of like mind, and maybe they too can learn from me so here I am. Hope to get to know you all.
