How Does Magick Work? Options

Im new to all of this magick busness was wondering about things such as energy, balance of energy. When would you put energy toward something you wanted to create in a magickal way, would you take this energy from something in the past? Can this energy come from nowhere?

If I wanted to create something from using magick, what would i need to consider?

Has anyone successfully created something from a spell?

I'm really not sure what you're getting at here.
A few years ago I would put energy towards anything I wanted - a new job, a new house, enough money to pay the bills, protection, health blah, blah, blah.
You take the universal energy that is all around you and channel it into yourself, make it your personal energy and send it back out into the world with your desires and will intact.
That is magic.
