If you've never hear of it go to www.NightMagick.com and click on the book. I have been looking into Night Magick for some time and enjoy it. Its a mix of any philosophies into a Magickal system. Please give your opinion , and read the last section which list a few supposed night magicians

from chapter one of the book:

"I can only imagine at this point that you are about to put down this book and run scared due to words like Night, Darkness, Dark Power, and the title of the book itself, Night Magick."

nope! i wee'd myself with laughter - i walk arm in arm in nature, which is both day and night, life and death, growth and dissolution - i have kissed the feet of death before and half is always less than the whole

i can only imagine that that was a blind as it is a well thought out book and system, though

I agree with Esoterica. You cannot have the light without darkness, nor
the darkness without light. Out of chaos comes order. They are complete
opposites but the end justifies the means.

So, as a rhetorical question consider this. I do work on the white
side of the fence. However, when it comes to protection, defending,
and in some cases having to bring out the big guns in an offensive posture,
the dark really comes in handy. AS LONG AS all involved that are innocent,
are not harmed. Ive used mirrors to deflect boogie men or humans who act like
boogie men (AND women.. dont wanna leave any one out (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) )
I strictly abide by "an harm ye none", but there are grey areas sometimes,
and the gift of discernment, as well as experience REALLY comes in handy
Ive gotten one or two (IMG:style_emoticons/default/black eye.gif) through trial and errors LOL.

So because I have called on the darker side on occassion, does that make
me dark, or even grey? No. Just that fuzzy lines creep in from time to time.

Ive had encounters with bains/banes and well, they just didn't want to listen, so
I had to draw on the darker side to defend and protect an innocent.

I agree. Even though Karma threatens a threefold return process, there is no rule which states that in full knowledge and spirit of one's situation, that one has no right to act as the executor and enforcer of karma thereof. If someone does something to me magickally, what's to say that my reaction to them was not THEIR karma? Of course, this has to be done in full knowledge of the situation, and must me meditated on. For safe measure, maybe... three times what the transgressor meditated on for their decision to wrong ME in that case? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
