Petitioning Spirits, not evocation . . . just petting the kitty, not taming the tigers Options

Does anyone have any experience in petitioning a goetic spirit, instead of outright evocation . . for a more "practical" type result. If so, any experiences you can relate?

I'm sorta trolling here, as I'm in the process of starting a goetic petitioning work . . . and am simply looking for ideas and creative approaches.

Actually I think your referring to demonaltry. There are a few books on the subject I believe at www.lulu.com I hope I didn't break any rules giving you that link. Basically, those that follow that path mainly use meditation and petitions using Enns which are special prayers. It sounds fascinating. But its not my cup of tea. Now the Necronomicom....That I like. Well, I thought demonalotry was worshipping demons . . . I'm specifically not intending on worship.
Though I would be giving patitional offerings . . . in trade for request-service (and a bit of lite relation building).
My intention is toward a non-paradigm specific method of lite contact. But not worship or personal subjugance . . . though, admittedly, oblational offering.

Yes I have done this many a time, and found good results with it. I will burn a 7 day novena for them when I take this approach. You might find a few hinters in my working with the Daemons article, which I am pretty sure is posted in this section somewhere.
I recommend starting with one that you get a very good feel from. I have found that different people work well with different Daemons.

Yep, I'm actually using your article as a basis . . .
I've been trying to make lite, meditative, contact prior to setting up a spacific alter space . . . just to get a better feel.

I'm working with Vassago, not only does this seem a good feeling . . . but I'm getting very strong connection with Baphomet from this spirit.

Oh Vassago is definatly a good choice, he is very used to and patient with humans (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif). Also with Vassago I have found that it works to call him during the day. Some of them it seems more difficult at this time, but not with Vassago. The handy thing about Baphomet is that there is oh so many images of him around that can be used!
