Intergration and Oversoul, Shamenism techniques for a newbie medium Options

Hey... Is there such a thing as an oversoul, like intergrating spirits into objects.... and such... I have a dragon spirit partner, but I have yet to master my shamenistic abilities...

Again... Any help is GREATLY appreciated...

Well, I'll do what I can to help you, but every person who follows the shamanic path has their own way for doing things according to their teaching, background, and ancestry. From the blacksmith shaman (siberia) or the creator's point of view, you might not want to think about it as putting a spirit into an object. Way I would see it, in my humble opinion, is to create an object made to hold a particular spirit.

It's kinda like how Michaelangelo (or at least I hope it was him, curse me if I'm wrong) said that he didn't try to sculpt a form out of a stone, rather he'd try to find a stone that had the right form and cut away everything else that was in the way to let it's true essence shine. All objects already have a spirit, and a purpose that will be different for the bearer. You've got to find what spirit form it takes when you hold it, and bring that out.

How? I suggest you listen. The spirit will tell you what it is if you open your mind and heart to it. If you want to make something with a particular purpose, then create something, like a fetish. But always remember to listen to the spirits, and they will reveal to you their truth. I certainly hope that helps.

Well I already understand my spirit... Shelong and I have pretty much "known" each other sice I was about 4 or 6... Not sure...

I have a cerimonial staff that I want to intergrate him into (or oversoul, as the case may be...) I understand psiconstructs, but is there anything else I should know for me and my dragon buddy?

Oh I see. You want to put your dragon spirit into the staff, probably for some sort of attack. My suggestion is simple. Command the dragon to go into the staff. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) You need to be able to imagine the dragon in your staff so well, that you can actually feel and see it intergrating. That's what I do with my "spiritual sword." I can feel the weapon in my hand and when I slash it, my friend, Rory, who is also a practicing shaman feels the weapon. Same rule applies for something like "oversoul", as you call it. Stick with the name, it's kinda cool. You must either watch anime or play Capcom games.

Yea... I got it off a manga called "Shaman King"... I figured that since a lot of animes/mangas do background reseacrh on alot of their stories (Full Metal Alchemist, Gundam Wing, Gundam Seed) the I kinda figured that I could pull this off no sweat....

Well I'm certainly glad I could be of some help. Anything that inspires you can assist you in gaining understanding and power. The Shamans in Shaman King are mostly Siberian types of shamans. When I say that I mean they get possessed by ghosts. There are exceptions though. It seems all the higher level shamans are different types of shamanic practice, and then there's Faust whose an all out Necromancer, which they call a graveyard shaman. Of course, necromancy and shamanism are closely connected, so it really doesn't matter what they call him. Then you've got the X-Laws, who are like Summoners.

I digress. To be honest, I love that show. Shonen Jump most certainly did his research. It's so ironic that a country that produces so many shows with an occult twist, has lost almost all sense of spirituality. Go there and you'll be apalled.

I would, if I could astral project... Strange, I find it that I would rather be in a spirit form that remain in this phsyical flesh and blood... I guess it's because that the astral realms have less limitations than here...
