Does anyone have any thoughts on the concept of levitation, of yourself or an object, using energy manipulation?

Chassan is a good spirit to work with for this. Supposedly he is able to, over a period of time, teach one how to levitate themselves and other objects. I worked with him for a month about two years ago and was able to, for a time, influence the direction of incense smoke. If you are interested in learning levitation, this would be a very good spirit to summon or even invoke.

This is going to take a very long time and is one of the hardest things to do. It requires mastery in spinning chakras, and a VERY deep trance state.

Think aboute t this way, it was once said that whit the Energy used to just move a glass across a table, one could influence the minds of all the pepole in a nation, and there is alot more Energy needed to lift yourself than to move a glass across a table.

In Norway we once had a New Age political party, they discussed levetation once though not wery seriously it seams their coment was. First you pull up one leg, then you pull up the other leg. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1238.gif)

Chassan is from Konstantinos's "Summoning Spirits."

DeathStalker, have you levitated before? I am wondering because you don't explain why chakra work would make one levitate? If not by personal experience, what source is that from?

I've not levitated, but im working on it.

Having strong and open chakras and knowing how to spin them makes it a lot easier for practicing a lot of things actually, not only levitation.

I've always thought that a good way to levitate was programming a shield to neutralize the gravity surrounding it.

Life's about taking risks, i'd risk it. I'm still a child within, I risk, I observe, I stroll in the darkness where the unknown lays without asking questions as to "why", or "what if".

That is how we learn, through mistakes.

Just depends how badly you want to learn something and what you're willing to give up for it.

Well obviously there's going to be risks in everything when it comes to magick. We all (or most, anyway) knew that when we started. While it's definately a good thing to be aware of certain risks involved, it's not such a good thing to back down becasue of them. Just my opinion:)
