intrusion detected, Unwanted entity found during meditation Options

last night during an intense meditation , I caught the scent of something or someone that has hurt me tremendously in the past , I tried to go deeper but couldnt. The feeling was at the forhead area and it was distinctly different from the rest of me . I will be going to get some Reiki done , to remove this as at this stage it will not leave like the other junk that comes and goes during the day . I'm not glad that its their but am that I got its scent and being a familiar one , I hope to deal with it in a manner that it deserves .

Greetings! Not knowing you or your personality...... perhaps you're experiencing something from within yourself being brought to the fore by your deep meditations...? Perhaps this is something that you never came to grips with whilst it was happening and it is here, now, to deal with. (dept of redundancy dept) It was once told to me that when one begins on an 'occult' path that one should really have ones collective shit together. Know thyself, else how will you know anyone(thing) else? Over the years it has been, much to my chagrin, mostly my own demons that are behind 'psychic' attacks as opposed to those launched by others. True I was not able to deal with it at the time , nor did i have the resources. I've gone thru a lot of healing since then and gone thru extreem emotional outbursts , that I was unable to express. I'm at this stage just waiting and keeping my fingers crossed.
I've been thinking about the experience from different perspectives , but I mostly come up with a vicious cycle of blame and guilt.
