My New Circle Rite, the symbolism, oh the symbolism Options

about to publish this, though i'd give you all the chance to tear it to shreds first! - mods: feel free to move this if it shouldn't be in this area, i couldn't think physically this morning

esoterica's new solitary circle rite:

scout out a place thats private enough at dusk and with enough room to walk around in a comfortable circle
if its too cold outside you can do it inside - mark the center of the circle with a white stone (or a natural-holed stone) that you keep with you at all times, preferrably as a pendant (and even better with no metal on it) - it is your linkage to the power
dance slowly around the stone in the center of the circle, three times clockwise, whisper-singing the following lines, one line for each time round - keep your eyes open as you go around the stone, making the circle

"hand in hand - dance the circle, round and go
to and fro - like the wind, bend and flow
dance and sing - twice around, once again"

silently dance around the stone
whisper sing the chorus phrase
open your mind and then your heart
and join all things in silent praise

"hand in hand - dance the circle, round and go
to and fro - like the wind, bend and flow
dance and sing - twice around, once again"

always going to the right
calling the lady of the night (moon)
no matter what the moon be like
then call the hunter lord (sun)

(stop, whisper "yiieeeee!", then go 2x faster!)

round and round and round it goes
where it stops no body knows
soon noises reach your buzzing ears
the fairy creatures come

fiery sparks before your eyes
the lady and the hunter lord
have come into the circle
(make your bow to them)

never more than three times round
at one time then all fall down
if you're ready to proceed
only then you may begin

where it stops nobody knows
take a picture - no one's there

fly the night with trance-lit eyes
swooping through the stormy skies
with the lady and the lord
no drug can match this fiery cord!

the lord and lady of the earth
thank them for their rightful birth
and their secrets shown tonite
and thank them for this sacred rite!

stop for a split-second, whisper "yip, yip, yiieeeee!", then go around as fast as you can!

all fall down, lay there listening quietly, then pick up the stone and go as silently as you came

Hi Esoterica,

I like your Solitary Circle Rite very much. There's some beautiful poetry and imagery in your chant. I did want to ask about the phrase 'Hand in Hand' since it is a solitary circle walk, are your companions the goddess and the god? Do you think you might want to put in a verse that refers directly to the stone centerpiece? I'm weak on Witchcraft theory, will the stone charge simply by virtue of it's placement amidst the magic circle, or does it require conscious thought to direct the power into it?

"Yip, Yip, Yiieeeeee!" This ritual looks like great fun:)
