Hi Esoterica,

I'm not a Wiccan, but appreciated your cheery Solstice post just the same:) Are those song lyrics or lines of poetry that you posted? Is there more of it? I like it, it's so different from the dark and gloomy thoughts I've been having lately, lol:)

the solctice is a solar event, it does not matter what religion you are in.
It is a real event with universal symbolic meaning.

The longest night, after this night the days grown longer again and the light returns.
Is that not reason to celebrate. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ?

actually i'm technically a heathen, not a pagan or a wiccan but there's plenty of happiness around!

also a great way for solitary practitioners to join in on celebrating - just open your mind and jump in the festivities

try this: windows media player -> play location (url) -> type or copy this in:

pagan pentagram radio

you have to universally holler 'yiiiieeeeee' and dance the circle when celtic music comes on

if you are where you can't get up and holler at least do it in your head

always remember that freedom is a choice we make

unless in self-defense, remember the rule of 3

build it and shoot

oh no, here comes the celtic dancing music again!

yyiiiiieeeeeee!

It is special for me and I usually set up an altar and ritual in one way or another, but not got round to it this year, yet lol
