I'm not a Wiccan, but appreciated your cheery Solstice post just the same:) Are those song lyrics or lines of poetry that you posted? Is there more of it? I like it, it's so different from the dark and gloomy thoughts I've been having lately, lol:)

It is a real event with universal symbolic meaning.

actually i'm technically a heathen, not a pagan or a wiccan but there's plenty of happiness around!

also a great way for solitary practitioners to join in on celebrating - just open your mind and jump in the festivities

It is special for me and I usually set up an altar and ritual in one way or another, but not got round to it this year, yet lol

i swear i heard a great big 'yip yip yiiieeeeeeeeeee!!' during that last fast celtic song!

either i'm getting tired or the songs when they come are getting faster and faster!
