Auto-meditation is nothing but realizing the fact that we are always in contemplative meditation irrespective of whether we know it or not. This effortless & choiceless trance-like state is our core nature. But our outer mind plants distracting delusions making us identify with external objective world. What we should do is to remove the toxins on which our outer mind feeds. Toxins can be removed by purging our mind of the garbage which has come to us from our past births, our bad habits and the surroundings. The said purging can be carried out by breathing exercises, group interactions and holy mantras & prayers.
