The point of the great work is total spiritual maturity, the reason for this is simple, eternal freedom. what I'm interested in is finding my own way for the purpose of the great work, because for me its the only way to go.
Peace...
I pretty sure what I just posted may be a little outdated as far as my way of thinking has gone, but I find it to still be of use.
Greetings Cloud Hex,
I won't say that your interpretation of the Great Work is wrong, because in doing so I would be attempting to limit your "Liberty", or "Freedom" to "Do What Thou Wilt".
In my understanding one of the most important points in Performing The Great Work is not only to have "Perfect Liberty" or "Freedom" in our personal lives, but, to also extend that "Liberty" and "Freedom" to all persons to follow their "True Will."
The Great work is (in my opinion) giving the same considerations to exercise ones "True Will" to all beings, for truly this then is "Perfect Liberty."
Respectfully,
Helel (Joseph)
