Need Help Asap, Looking for a mentor Options

Hi, I'm new to magick, and I'm in a need of a mentor to get started. The thing is I don't know where to start and don't have access to shops that sell books on this topic, nor do I own a credit card to buy online. Need help in all parts of witchcraft, some simple spels to start with...

No shops around you that sell books? Where do you live? Most chain bookstores (Barnes & Nobles, Books-A-Million, etc) have several books on witchcraft with "simple spells". Most of the books I own I have gotten from these places, save one book I ordered online.

to find some simple spells and things such as casting a magick circle, etc. Note that it is not specifically tailored to witchcraft (or, as the site calls it, "low magick"), but it does have good information from what I have read. Not to mention several "simple spells".

Buddy I was where you are now not so long ago, I'll tell you now, before you commence on any type of magical working, begin by learning about what magic is, the gods, how magic works, etc.

Then, begin by meditating and training your mind, in overture for the effectiveness of casting a spell, as dabbling won't really get you anywhere.

And third... you "DONT" need a mentor, you have your subconscious and yourself, it's all you need. Mentors, schools, etc. they can be tempting, but in the end, the only best path is the solitary one, you have the capability to learn all you want.

For books, may I suggest you try reading some of the pdfs that can be found on this site, and through google, until you get a credit card.

Also - metaphysics, occult, supernatural, etc. sections can also have possibilities in book stores.

I would recommend that you start to get in touch with your Higher Self. A great way to do this is go book shopping. There simply has to be a large chain store within 100 miles of you. If not you can order catalogs from many vendors, and simply place and order, send a money order and get your stuff. Now, when you are shopping, relax and look at the books. See what jumps out at you. If something grabs your interest, take it. Then thank your Higher Self for pointing it out for you...

you know i think i need to get some more books too but what do you mean jumps at you??are you talking about grabbing my interest??? or is it something else and how does higher self help someone if you dont know how to "reach it" isnt it just a more wise spiritual and alll around almost divine form of you.... tell me if im wrong or add to what i am saying
