Hello, everybody!
It's been a long time since my last post here, but several times I asked for help from you, guys, and things went very well, so I decided I ask for help, again. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/help.gif)
Basically, I desperately need to share a series of events that occurred in my life and my parents' life for 3 months now. Maybe releasing my thoughts will bring a relief and the energies will finally set in the right places.

This is the story: in December, my parents got a very nice and also very useful car, in leasing, and we were all very glad. Well, I was initially against this aquisition, because I don't believe in expensive, material objects that steal one's freedom, but I liked the car and I was glad that my parents liked it.
In January my father got a little bit sick, something with his liver, his heart, his lungs...well, he was in very bad shape. In the same month, some mean colleagues at his work made some groundless complaints about him and my father was in danger to lose his job (he is a policeman, if that matters).
In February, my mother suffered a retinal hemorrhage, and she still cannot see clearly with her left eye.
This month, my father had kind of a pre-infarct, or just a very bad attack.
Yesterday, he hit himself with the car door in the nose, (IMG:style_emoticons/default/black eye.gif) and while he was bleeding , and standing in the car, not moving in any way, another car hit the front door..
Today, some nice guy stoled the cassete deck from the same car...
And tomorrow my father has to defend himself in some kind of a lawsuit with that mischievous colleague from work.
Well, I thought this is just a series of unfortunate events. Then I thought it may be a curse ( I have a relligiously disturbed grandmother who tries to do some spells, (IMG:style_emoticons/default/witch.gif) or whatever ; my mother found her clothes smelling like frankincense) so I tried to protect my family through a representation of it ( stone) covered with a representation of "good things happening" (wax covering the stone) and then I put all this in a box, so that nothing bad can reach my family. That didn't work.
Then I read Sad Soul' s problem about being cursed and the answers he received. Thinking we are cursed, my family and I are basically cursing ourselves. Ok, let's say I can put an end to this way of thinking, but my mother is really scared, actually, and I am terrified when I see my father who always was kind of a "tough guy" really messed up, sick and scared , too. How can I make them think positive? My mother keeps saying that it's like we are cursed and she thinks my grandmother did something (although, I believe if she did something was purely by mistake, because she is not very sane, or capable to think properly). I am afraid to try something "magickally" because I am not experienced practically, I know only theoretically what I should do. I don't want to mess things up more than they already are.
It is pretty hard to make my parents stop from complaining, or being depressed, ( me being sort of protected from what is happening, I don't know why).
What do you think about this? I mean, should I intervene, should I just tell my parents that everything is going to be fine, should I check my parents astrological current background, should I call an orthodox priest (my mother is an orthodox christian and a cleansing performed by a priest will help her), should I try to find what is the cause -if there is a cause - for all these ( I don't know how to do that, I tried the Tarot and I got nothing clear)...Should I try to create a shield for my family, should I create a shield for our car, because everything seemed to have started when we bought it... Greetings Geegee,

We all come to these points in life where everything seems to get screwed up. Its like an unseen resistance. I do not think that you are cursed but you could have some bad forces working against you. The Sumerians believed that anytime there was bad luck or sickness demons were responsible.

You could try some exorcisms. The Angel Michael is especially powerful in these type matters. Burning a Saint Candle for him should help greatly. If you are Christian I would suggest that you buy The Magick of the Psalms book. Each of the biblical Psalms is supposed to do something specific in your life. The book will tell you what Psalm does what.

Keep your head up and try to be optimistic about the future. Your mind state seriously influences what occurs around you and how you react to it. In times like these I always resort to Magick and fight back. The resisting force is repelled and thing become better than they were before trouble started.

May Michael be with you!

Peace

Greetings Geegee!
I am sorry for the spate of unfortunate occurences that have recently surrounded your family.
I doubt very much that they are related to any occult barrage but let's keep that on hold for a moment.
You happen to mention that your grandmother is associated with some 'witchery'...ie"
I have a relligiously disturbed grandmother who tries to do some spells..." and "...my mother found her clothes smelling like frankincense..."
Perhaps she is not working against you but FOR you! Think about it. You, of course, know your family the best but I felt that I had to mention it.
The 'curses' people believe that inflict them are usually self fulfilling prophecies. It is so much easier to blame others for our misfortunes! (I'm a prime example of this...or, at least, used to be). Hysteria can be dealt with by using the 'language' (so to speak) of the hysteric to put the problem right... ie: witchcraft/magic vs curses, etc. Your Mom in all probability should seek religous council because it will make her feel sane and that her universe is in 'control'. Her eye problem may be related to diabetes, blood pressure or macular degeneration...all of which are related to getting older or a genetic predisposition. Your Dad, if he is getting on in his middleage will find that he will not be in peak physical shape that he once was...just getting older (LOL, I laugh because if you could see me now with O2 tubes sticking out of me and my lower limbs dead...nothing of what I used to be)! He also appears to have the problem of a workplace bully/bullying...which can affect him both emotionally (stress) and physically (again, stress). There are avenues to help with that problem and I wish him luck! Stress can cause an untimely speeding up of age related illnesses and police work can be REALLY stressful!
What you can do is to be positive and supportive. Do positive ritual, ask for help/guidance from the Archangels, do anything that will bring peace of mind and harmony to your house. Burn alittle incense to Nepthys, Lady of the House, to help watch over you and help give you guidance. Or, ask Mary if you are Christian. You may even broach the whole witchcraft thing with Grandma sometime...she may be not as nuts as you think! (besides Frankincense is standard church incense and has positive Solar attributes).
The accident with the car can be looked at as being somewhat fortuitous...your Dad wasn't injured was he? And leased cars have insurance coverage regardless. The stolen cassette player can be claimed on either their homeowners or standard theft clause auto insurance. Besides, now he can upgrade to a CD player! (Sorry...I had to make a joke just then)
Not all is lost! The Winds of Change can sometimes be rather cold and/or startling. Magic can help you transition but you never need be a victim if you don't choose to. (Gods, what a belly full of hoohah! LOL!) Seriously, I don't think it is a curse. Remember that hysterics only engender more hysterics and often alot of needless suffering!
Be well, be happy and trust in your higher self! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Thanks for suggestions, guys. I didn't think about seeking protection from the archangels, I am trying to do that right now.
Well, Bym, I was thinking about all these things just like you, I mean there seems to be logical explanations for almost everything that had happenned, and after all, looking back at all that I kind of have the image of a snowball getting bigger and bigger... As for my grandma...I don't think she ever did something good for anybody, but whatever.
OK, so it may not be any curse or occult attack. Great, because I was starting to be afraid. I will tell my mom she better goes to a church, just to clear her thoughts, it will be the best for her. And I will try to seek protection from Angel Michael and Nepthys (just after I will google her...), that I believe I can do.
Thanks again!
