Witchcraft In Our Country. Please Read., Witchcraft -- Hexing and Healing Options

Hi..before my question, let me just explain first our culture in witchcraft and healing here in our country. The power of witchcraft here in our country are passed down to generations. It is only passed when a relative is dying, the witch shall choose whom to pass her power, whether her daughter, son, her sister or sometimes even a friend. They can pass it by just touching you.

Witchcraft here is primarily hexing people. We have two kinds of witchcraft here; first the witchcraft called "kulam", it's the lower type of witchcraft and can only cause you to the distortion of your body parts, pain, and insanity by the use of dolls and spells. And second, the highest type which is called "barang", witches(Mangkukulam) who possess the power of barang can hex you by putting insects or things like nails inside your body. Whatever it is that you offended them they shall put it inside your body. And what scares me is that they can kill people within 12 hours. And i have seen our own version of witchdoctors called "albularyo" cured and actually took insects, sticks and nails out of a person's body. There are also a family living in "Siquijor" island who are called the "Black Tongues". All of them in their family possess the power of Black Tongue. It is called black tongue because they can curse you instantly by just using words. And they are one of the most frightened sorcerers in the said island.

Witches here are still burned to death. If found out that a witch hexed somebody. People will burn their house down.

Now, i was told that "albularyos"(witchdoctors) and witches works their magic by the use of "Orasyons". And they acquired this orasyons by the Spirits which are passed to them by their witch relative or parents. These orasyons are written in a small book called "Libretas".. They usually wrote and add charms and spells to their Libretas in Holy Weeks.

Is it possible that the spirits passed to the witches and healers in our country are familiars?? I have been taught a lot of Orasyons too and i must say that those charms really work. How do i acquire my own familiar? I was also told that witches here can teach me to get my own familiar by a certain ritual..But i dont trust witches here..

i assume by 'familiar', you mean spirit as opposed to physical animal

and i believe the orayson to be the 'charms' or 'spells' that are gift from the spirit (the spirit, not the gift, is that which is passed between family members, and the words taught by that spirit pass with it, not the other way around)

well, in my crazy idea, the familiar spirit would be like a bandar or a lower jinn - is there any physical sacrifice to these spirits by those that company with them? calling with the methods used for those might work

to those in your country that live and dare to use the ancient magic, and to those that have died for the use of it, i salute you!

Siquijor is not a country. Its an island which is located in the country of Philippines... So the spirits are the one passed..

I also heard this type of witchcraft, well a branch of witchcraft here in our country where you have to dig a skull in a graveyard at october 31 midnight or good friday of the holy week. You will only take the skull. Once you found a skull. You should immediately go back to your house. You will then boil a holy water, and should not use any metals when doing this. You will then hang the skull about 20inches on top of the boiling water. Some sort of steaming the skull. The liquid that is coming out of the skull shall then be gathered in a dark bottle. You will now then go to your alter. Light 7 black candles and recite the appropriate "Orasyons" to call the spirit who owns the skull. And while you have the liquid from the skull. The spirit will obey you. The orasyon is very important in this kind of ritual..

This type of witchcraft is primarily used to hurt or kill people. That's why people in Siquijor are called the supernatural hitmen.

Like what i have said, the one about the skull is only a branch of witchcraft. There are a lot of sources of power here in our country. If you have read the links that i provided, you will get an idea.
