Yahoo probably has an email for just this kind of thing. Just last week I received an email from my bank to clink on the supplied link and update my password. The link looked almost exactly like the real bank website. And I get "phishing" from paypal and amazon lookalike scammers from time to time.
I just forward them (the fake emails) to the right folks.

And the right folks are who now? The scams that are over seas are pointless to report because the shear volume of them and the fact that there isn't really anything the government can do except say "shame on you Nigeria". But especially the scam sites that are mimicing legimate sites it'd be nice to know who to tell. I get fake myspace pages all the time. Sometimes I'll access somebodies profile and the exact same myspace login verification page pops up. Most of my friends have actually fallen for it and their sites get hacked and scrambled.

I'm getting to the point where I don't send them off anymore. All I get is an automated "thank you" email. More and more it's falling to our own responsibilty to keep from being scammed. For me everything of this nature is automatically suspect until proven otherwise.

Anymore if you're myspace account gets phished the site will block you until you change your password - I just had to redo mine no fucking clue how my page got phished I and I alone know my password and guard it well. I never use my password anywhere but the offical myspace home page. Yet for some reason somebody what able to finger it out. And it gets clearer and clearer to me as to why I drink so much. Man one of you must have astral projected over here and watched as I typed it in or gained it as part of some telepathic osmossis or soemthing (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
