Getting A Parking Spot, Or Other Practicalities, how practical! and it worked Options

I don't know if this belongs here or in Chaos, but here goes....

I had an interesting experience today. I was heading to a lakefront park with quite limited parking. I was inspired from the book Instant Magick (Christopher Penczak) to try getting a parking spot. I triggered my light trance and visualized a parking space close to park entrance area, and willed for a space to be available.

I got to the park, and sure enough, every spot was taken. I drove up an noticed a space I could take -- not really a spot, but I've seen people park there. As I was parking, I realized -- right in front of me was an empty spot that I didn't even notice! (I thought it was handicapped parking.) Somebody zipped right in there.

And right then, the adjacent parking spot opened up, and I got it! How cool is that?

It just amazed me that I missed an open spot. then still got a second one, despite the lack of open spaces.

I don't have a huge background with practical magick like this -- most of my past work revolved around CM, doing light rituals, more often for their own sake than with a practical goal. So this was a pretty good experience for me today.

Anyone else have practical things that worked, that you'd like to share?

Im happy to share my parking spot story with you. There is only one person in my daily life that I can share magic with and they know the story and have seen it in action.
I work with he Necronomocon spirits and I called upon Ziku to help me with my financial situation, I didn't win the lotto but checks came in the mail, found money i had stached in a book etc... most valuable was the change of perspective on what riches are, and that i am in fact wealthly in whats important in this earthly life.
That was 6 or 8 months ago and I noticed i had been lucky getting parking places and felt a little spirit wink as i pulled in and knew it was part of my new "wealth". So to this day I praise Ziku for my parking places!
I feel sometimes i need to clear my mind maybe a light trance like you mentioned if its not happening right away, and most importantly tune out the chatter from those in the car.

I haven't needed to "work for" a parking space since this incident, for whatever reason.

I have to say that your spirit's wink as described, still gives me a chuckle when I read it! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

This brings to mind that joke about the magician donned in full ceremonial garb standing before an altar in the middle of a parking lot, reading from a book that says "Practical Incantations to Get Parking Spaces".

I think this is just a bout of creative visualization though it must be done well in time before you get to the actual space for a better chance of it working. Meh, either way, it's a handy little trick.
