Using Energy Put Out By Others? Options

I was couch surfing recently, and one place at I stayed at, the occupants had a lot of wild sex all day. It occurred to me that there would be a lot of energy being generated and wasted, and wondered about using it to charge things, and so forth. Seems viable, being random free energy. Didn't get a chance to try it, so I figured I'd ask if anyone has any thoughts on the idea. I'm sure an opportunity will arise again one of these days.

Certainly, although be careful to take only the ambient energy released from that. Other sources include music, parades, danceclubs, etc. However, it's necessary to clean the energy, which is not a difficult thing to do but is often overlooked either out of ignorance or the belief that it's a complicated process.

How you clean energy depends on your method of energy work. Some just carry a clear quartz (important for it to be clear, it's a cleaner crystal) others devise sieve shields that just filter out the negative vibrations and collect the good ones, others gather energy of all sorts and the purify it internally through prayer, etc. My method is to gather it all, 'smooth out' the frequencies to an average, and the raise the vibration high enough to be healthy again. If you visualize colors and whatnot, white is a good color for clean 'base' energy. Mixed energy will be agitating if the frequencies are 'random' (unless you revel in chaos), while mixed energy of harmonized frequencies will produce a fairly stable emotional response (think good feng shui).

Like any other magick, energy follows intent, but the consequences of not cleaning collected energy range from spells warped by subconscious trash picked up with the energy (you're far more psychic than you think you are), to getting negative energies lodged in your astral body, which can lead to all sorts of unfortunate side-effects from psychological imbalance to disease.

It's a perfectly good idea. I've tried something similar and had good results. When my company switched over to a new software system that was badly implemented it caused a lot of frustration and pain among the employees who had to use the said software. Before the first day of the implementation of the new software I told my servitor to gather to pain and frustration that will be generated by the user of the software. Told her I wanted to snack on it. Told her to look for a specific kind of pain, a slow, brewing sort of frustration from someone who know they have no place to escape to, and to also look for bursts of intense hopelessness. For the following week she was able to gather much energy. Together we absorbed the energy she gathered before I go bed and I had some of the best nights of sleep I've ever had, with vivid and pleasant dreams, the sort of sleep I usually have after successful energy work. I would wake up in the morning feeling like a million bucks. As the week went on, and as people got more used to the new software, the amount of energy she was able to gather became less and subsequently I did not manage to absorb as much.
