What do people think of this book?

Keep seeing it around and feel tempted to buy it but haven't, wasted £17 yesterday buying a book on Egyptian yoga instead. Kicking myself on the way home.

Only had a swift flick through it as its in a Waterstones... felt out of place checking it out in the other store I passed through yesterday as well, my intrest in it would have scared the workers there somewhat but going over it made me aware of a pop occult genre, this Francis Barrett guy is old skool, the book itself is in ye olde english. Middle ages type stuff. Have too many occult books at the moment but people always seem to talk about the usuals, ok they brought it all up to date but it ends up being a bit pop cultureish. if you see my point.

Anyway, has anyone read it? What did you think of it?

An excellent book, one of my favorites. A survey of grimoric technique. Is one of the best texts to start with in this area along with the greater key of solomon.
