As the title says it, let's know what are your experiences with sigils and servitors. Ae you succeeding in your undertakes, or better say, have you ever succeeded? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) If so, may we talk about a "success rate"? And what about time? Are your sigils manifesting before date lines, for example? Are there any sigils which come inverted, contary to the SoI? Thanks in advance.

I've only done a few sigils, and I've mostly had successes, although usually quite subtle ones and not what I had expected. I once fired off a sigil for money because I was broke, and I got my student loan (which I had been expecting, but didn't know when) on my account about a day after. So... not really what I was expecting, but I suppose it was a success.
I've only created one servitor, and that was to help me get a job. About a week after creating the servitor, I had applied for jobs and hadn't heard back from any of them. So I decided to have a little talk with my servitor friend and (politely, of course) ask it to move its butt off the couch and get me a job, or I'd re-absorb it within a week. The next day I recieved two emails inviting me to interviews, both of which I was eventually offered, and I had a job a little while after that. I was quite happy about that, especially since it was my first servitor and I wasn't quite sure whether I was going about the whole thing the right way.

(IMG: style_emoticons/default/banana.gif) As I can see, you're a successful magickian. You may try to aim some greater goals, now! And what about Group sigils or Group servitors, have you ever tried anyone?

Successful magickian, I don't know... Hehe, I feel like a complete newbie! I've done many spells in the past without much success, but I guess the reason I've started having more success with magick recently is because I've started truly believing that I can do it... I just don't want to start taking it for granted that my magick will work because I still have a lot to learn. I've never worked chaos magick in a group, don't know if I'd want to as I really feel magick is such a personal thing for me, I prefer being solitary. I did do some work with some friends when I was younger and into Wicca, it was really great fun but no fantastic results. Although I did a spell with a friend of mine (she is quite psychically gifted) a couple of years ago which was very sucessful... What about you, Xence? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Same here ... I'm not interested in joining a coven. I'm not into what I term "the toys" (i.e., wands, candles, oil, etc.) I believe they're only as powerful as the intention you put forth into them. The methods I use are what is most comfortable for ME. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I honestly think I'm more newbie than you. In fact my first attempt to make a sigil was about a month ago, and as I said it somewher else, that was a total failure, for I put a past date in it! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/i_triangle.gif) After that I made about 30 sigils and let them aside for a week or so, and I'm firing one sigil per day. I don't know what will come from this. Let the magick play!! As for Group sigils and servitors, I was thinking about things like what was done on "occult forums". There are some Group servitors, like Skavan, Izabael, etc which are intended to be used by anyone needs them. And though I agree with both you and The Sorceress that magick is essentially a solitary affair, we may not neglect the power of a group working. You may have listened about the Ellis project initiated by the Marauders. I personnally started a project called "Millionaire Linking sigil", and lo and behold there are a few results out there! http://www.occultforums.com/showthread.php?t=21597*** QUOTE(The Sorceress @ Apr 28 2007, 09:47 PM) Re: success stories, I've manifested money, jobs, and one rare smoke-gray Jim Beam "Jeannie" bottle that I've spent the better part of three years searching for. Would you please elaborate a little bit more on those experiences. Thanks for both of you two! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/hands.gif)
