I Finally Found What Kept Me From Leaving., TURN OFF THAT DAMN TV!! Options

2 nights ago from this post, I AP'd. The estimated time of projection was appx. 3:AM eastern Standard time.

Before I AP'd fully, I went through different layers of reality, most of which included dreamstate layers of the cosmos.

I went through layers, and found problems of each one and how it applied to me...

One of the first ones had my little brother strolling down a hallway, shouting something useless like, "Elephantitis of the Penis!" or something like that.

One of the middle layers had a blaring tv with some news show on. Sounded like some corporate news bs like fox or something. It was loud, it was on, it was horrible.

I finally came to an end to the journey, and ran into a mirror. As I looked, there was a resort park on the other side in the mirror. I willed myself through, and flew through, skidding on my butt beside a pool at this resort. Comical, but hey, it worked!

Throughout the entire journey, I felt like my mind was in a haze, and the best way I could describe it was with this abstraction: It felt like white noise from a tv. Not only that, but throughout my trip along the side of the pool at this resort, I heard that tv constantly talking and shouting and spamming. It was all radio-type announcements, news, and bullshit.

I eventually woke up when i realized I was being smothered by my own pillow and not getting oxygen. I woke up, and took a breath.

It disturbed me, however, that something so trivial caused me so much trouble. I know that this dreamscape TV is at fault because i feel this on an intuitive level, a logical level, and virtually every other level of my being. This tv, somehow, is causing energy static and scrambling my own signal from my body to my spirit as I try to travel through the dreamscapes of my unconscious mind to the cosmos beyond.

Thing is, for all you experienced travellers out there: How do I turn off that Damn TV!?

like crowley getting zaped in the blue egg as he tried for the last ring, i have found that if i'm not into it enough and not quite ready for the experience i can get zapped - sounds like your zapper appears as a tv - maybe a subconscious irritation, medittation and subconscious delving might help to clear it, or the increasing energy of this mortal plane may be an irritant - i'm finding it increasingly hard to connect to faerie due to energy interference here

like a oyster with a sand grain irritant, make it into a pearl and coat it with a hard substance that blocks it out

Your allegories sound more like surrealist mysticism than they do advice, but I at least got the pearl part.

I'm not familiar with the crowley thing. Never studied the guy. And what's this about a blue egg? Last ring?

How do I turn off that Damn TV!?

How do you usually turn off any TV? You find the remote and press 'power'.

Imo, your issue is really a hurdle for you to jump before you can leap over the next. The problem is you are having trubble finding the remote. I'd check under the couch coshions first, then, if it were me, I'd check the frig where I tend to wonder off to, often drunk late at night with the munchies. Finding the remote is one of those cache 22's where you look everwhere to find it and then after much furniture moving and frustration you see it lying in front of you on the coffee table just slightly hidden by a book, newspaper or porno mag.

To me it sounds like what is happening is that you are somehow imbalanced and what you are experiencing is a result of this. The hazing feelings, the "TV static", the theme of coperate news casters all seem to indicate some imbalance in yourself. It could be any number of things, and combination there of, that are causing this. So you turn inward to find the remote to your tv, not that you lost it down your throat or up your ass, metaphorically speaking you might check anyways. Do some introspection and consider your diet, your love life, relationships, work habbits and so on. Maybe all you really need is a good grounding or a vaccation. Meditation, self-reflection, journaling, are all good examples. Once you find your remote you'll have that "duh" moment and then all you have to do is hit power - or correct whatever is causing your imbalance.
