the book of my dreams, black journal Options

I'm looking for a book that has been very hard to find over the last year or so. Last year I went into a borders and picked up a thick black journal that was very textured on the outside, and the inside was filled with highly textured (and unlined) watercolor paper. the pages are 7 x 10. I don't have a company name, just a description.

It makes a lovely grimoire/bos and I'm looking for another one and can't find it. If anyone has any ideas please msg me.

I use a diary on my computer for these purposes.
right now i am using KindDiary it a nice program, nice design, a bit fluffy bunny, with the bunny and all (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ac11.gif)

but i am going to switch over to this one

I don't think a book like yours is very useful, all you place in it is so definite, and i am always afraid of typos and stuff.

they have some nice hardcover books with a pentagram on it, or some other sigil, or just plain black.
the paper is a bit yellowish to give it that old look.
I find the papers just a bit to thin, but they are no thinner than normal paper i think.

I just installed advanced diary and i don't like it. it can only be arranged per day, with kind diary i have a workdiary in wich i keep track of all the things i do and make magically in a tree structure.

Neatly organised i have a folder for servitors, a folder for rituals, a folder for artwork and a projects folder. and i can add as many as i want.
advanced diary doesn't have that, just the normal diarys.
I have a 2 normal diarys to in kind diary, a dream diary and a daily ritual diary.

I would like to MAKE my own. Although I have to warn you I am not very crafty. I am an engineer by trade so give me pen and paper and I will design the hell out of something for you or do chemistry all day BUT I have never been able to do much with my hands. Most things I make myself come out all cock-eyed. Hell even when I paint something it usually looks like my daughter did it. LOL Any advice?

As an engineer it shouldn't be too hard to grasp the underlying design. It'll just take work and perseverance. An even though it may not appear to be perfect, you'll get the esteem strokes and satisfaction that you've done this once....it'll be easier next time... Let's get this straight...this thread/topic will be the construction of your own blank book (actually with this technique you can make any kind of book)...right?
I guess it should show variations and substitutes for those who have a hard time coming up with materials, as well as the various magical steps to produce a 'living' grimoire....eh what? If you guys have any further suggestions let me know! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I just bought a few blank hardcover BOS from azuregreen to use in our classes. To me, it is much more spiritual when a person writes their own BOS. Also, the books were so pretty I could not pass them up. There are cheaper deals on the same books at other vender sites who use azuregreen as their wholesale.

You can pick up black covered BOS journals in quite a few book stores now, but they have a large golden pentagram on the outside, which is nice, but makes it easy for other people to find.

I have lots of scraps of paper and a few bits on the computer. It is a case of having a poor memory and just grabbing whatever is to hand and hopefully having the time to reflect and enter it on the PC at a later date. The only problem I have with this is if my PC was hacked and I have forgotten to print the latest additions off.
