Why Dont My Post Counter Go Up? Options

I have posted a few new posts now, but my post counter dont go up, it is still on 59. What do this mean, it is not a big deal for me, but I still wonder why it dont go up?

Some forums don't attract a post count or some members would just keep posting pointless and mindless chatter just to add to their counts.

When you have been around for a few years, you won't even know what your post count is, it won't even occur to you to look at it because with a bit of hard work and good luck, you will be deeply into your path and have many more interesting things to think about (IMG:style_emoticons/default/starspin.gif)

Ah ok, thanks for the answer. I dont care aboute the counter, I just did not know why it did not go up, and I wanted to know if there was some thecnical error so my posts would just disapear or somthing like that.

My count hasn't gone up for my last 3 posts--- I should be @ 25 right now, remains 22.

Is it based on the length of the post or just the forum?

I would expect the Coffee Shop not to add to the post count.
Cause that's pretty much the only place I post.
