Angels Wings and Blood Options

I probably won't make any sense at all but here goes. I had a very interesting convo last night. Someone told me they ran into a friend who's mother is a high priestess. She was explaining something about angel wings. One is dipped in blood and the other in white light. The purpose for that is to be a servent for God (white light) and servants to humans (blood). Servant probably isn't the best word to use, but it'll do for now. Any idea what I'm talking about or where to learn more?

Well, I have never heard that before... But I know that she is talking about the angels who look after people... Phaleg, Adnachiel, Gabriel, and Chayyliel. There are probably more but these are the most common ones... If you talk to her again I would love to hear what else she says about angels... I don't know too much about them.

Well, you might look into the Grigori. They aren't supposed to have wings, but they are the angels closest to mankind. They're also sort of under 'Heavenly Probation,' which could be symbolized by a bloodied wing and a lit wing. They are, how do you say, a little TOO close to mankind.

No, but they were demoted for their behavior. They're still in the angelic host, not hell.

I suppose there are people who believe quartz is 'frozen lightning'! Aaaaargh! I'll grant you the symbolism being metaphorical but really....that's just insulting! Most of the 'angelic' entities I've come across rarely use wings and those that do wouldn't dip them in blood. *sigh* From what I can gather about angels is that they do have very specific tasks to perform, quite often under the excuse of 'you don't need to know' or 'I can't reveal the purpose...', etc. ad infinitum ad nauseum. Some make great night lights! They are patronizing, condescending and usually irritating! (WOW, was that a hot button or what?) They will intervene in ones life only if it is in accord with their master plan. period. Oh well, I hear there's a parade over there to rain on... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/angel.gif)

Well I have to agree and disagree. I have spoken to a number of angels and I have yet to see one of them with wings. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused012.gif)

BUT on the other hand, angels and most spirits actually show you a form that you can best work with. I am sure if for some reason you are most comfortable talking to a mail box then they would look like one for you. (within reason of course) I say that because most people I have compaired notes with seem to have similer but not exactly the same vision. Bottom line it sounds like crap to me, but if you best deal with a angel who has bloody wings then that is the way they would appear to you.
