This is what the middle pillar exercise is useful for. You'll want to look into how to vibrate the words and how to perform the qabalistic cross, which can be found online and on this forum. The middle pillar exercise is one of many ways to maintain the integrity of your aura, a cohesive aura means you won't feel so drained by astral parasites, the environment, or other people. Before you start the middle pillar exercise I recommend you perform the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram each day for a month, the LBRP very forcibly cleans the area and yourself of un-useful magnetism, the middle pillar exercise will be more effective in this clean environment.
A typical way to sort out astral parasites is to use a piece of quartz tied on a string around your neck, quartz is used in electrical watches and clocks as it vibrates at a very high frequency so has accurate time-keeping, these same subtle vibrations are useful for calibrating the aura. Using the quartz and a simple visualisation exercise is a good way to flush out the aura.
Everyone has blockages in their chakra system, which I'm guessing is what the heaviness in the solar plexus area is. I don't know how these blockages are traditionally opened as I use the same methods as wilhelm reich did to open blocked median channels (the middle pillar exercise will also help with this), other folk on this forum know much more about chakras than I do. You could also try acupuncture and ask them to try to rectify the heaviness you feel in that location, I'm unsure how expensive a session of acupuncture is tho'.
