Hello, everyone! I am Fastjack and I'm new here. I've been looking for people to discuss the necronomicon with and am really glad that I have found this site.

I've said all of this in my profile posting but I'd like to say it again here if no one minds.

The first time I became acquainted with the Necronomicon was about 23 or so years ago when I was about eighteen or nineteen. After reading it for the first time, I immediately set down and made my own copy by hand. But, before I could begin pursue or practice the system described therein, my hand copy was stolen by a "friend" whom I showed it to. (Who needs enemies when you have friends. Right?) Anyway, disappointment and frustration caused me to allow my store-bought copy to sit forgotten on my bookshelf for quite a long time. When I finally decided to bring it out again, I set down to make another hand copy. (For some reason, at that time making a hand copy seemed to be the most important thing to do.) But, before I got more that half way finished, my store-bought copy and my unfinished hand copy disappeared from my home along with my (then) girlfriend. So, until about two years ago, I haven't read or even touched a copy of the Necronomicon. Perhaps the Elder Gods have finally decided I have attained enought experience and maturity to pursue Them and the knowledge and spiritual advancement that They have to offer through the system contained within the Necronomicon. And, also, perhaps that is the reason I was guided to this website at this particular time in my life.

It's going to be interesting to see what role this site and its members play in my studies and life as I begin my climb up the Ladder of Lights.
