My best guess is that someone posted the url in a chatroom. How long ago that was is also hard to determine, but I think I got a tip about the library close to the time it was originally created. And this forum I found one day I was drunk, and just went clicky clicky.

I was researching something (can't remember now what...maybe Crowley?) at Wikipedia and found a link which led me to the mainpage with the pdf's. From there I found this forum.
