Hi guys,

Earlier this evening, I was meditating "in my mind". I quiet my body down and envision myself on an energy filled plane where I can focus and meditate peacefully. I was doing that when all of a sudden the ground opened up underneath me and earthen steps formed. I stepped onto one and they turned into a slide. I slid down this winding slide, deeper and deeper into the earth, passing all types of dirt and rock and metal. I descended a very long time until the rock around me was black and sparkled with gems and minerals. Finally, I was dropped onto a rock platform with a giant spherical object in the center. The surface of the sphere was silver and smooth. I petitioned the orb, asking if I could enter. It answered "yes" and a doorway of light formed. I stepped into the sphere and found myself in a massive garden with all types of trees, animals, and insects. Hanging above all this was a massive, glowing ball of light, somewhat reminiscent of the sun. I knew that it was the earth's life force, its "motor", if you will. From the orb emerged a woman, as she approached me I recognized her as Gaia, spirit of the earth. She welcomed me to the earth's center and said that I was welcome to stay and rest. I moved to lay down on the ground and white flowers sprung from the soil. I laid on them and fell "asleep". As I was sleeping, green, blue, and indigo energy began to swirl around me. Only a few seconds had gone by but I knew that a day had passed. Gaia came and said it was time to leave but that I was welcome back anytime. I exited the sphere and ascended.

I opened my eyes and was back in my room. My body had been completely still the entire time. I wasn't even aware of my physical body until I opened my eyes, What do you all think of this experience?? Has anyone gone through anything similar??

Note: I was NOT asleep during this. It was NOT a dream.
