While I am looking at this in a totally different way, and I admit probably not the intended way…but then again I am not sure that is the case.
I have read and own all these books except for PME. All the other books are lightweights compared to Book IV when it comes shear mass, and paraphernalia mentioned inside. Ceremonial Magick might be a contender in the paraphernalia category if I remember correctly, or it just might have been in the exotic quality of the materials.
So, just for the gear mentioned in the book I have to go with Book IV, not to mention the amount of kindling it provides.
My counting on it to get me off the island, and I take no knowledge with me, that would change things.
If it where a case of I have no prior knowledge, but automatically get everything in the book to a respectable level of expertise, or can only use the methods garnered directly out of one book… Liber Null though Book 4 is coming in a close second and closing the more I think about it.
If we are assuming no prior knowledge, and no instant knowledge…book IV for the tools it provides, page number and kindling, as nothing in any of these books can be totally taken in before a months time if you are just walking in.
So winner is Book IV by a long shot. The book I would most likely survive a deserted island on.
