 What is the intention behind this forum?

Hi guys!

I just had to ramble in, and recognizing a number of highly qualified practitioners as posters here ... this is something which should normally make me very happy ... however I wonder, since most of the ones I recognize are from another forum ... and a splitting of good people into two groups or forums is seldom a good thing ... now I have to be a member of two forums ... so my question is basically:

what is the purpose of having this forum in addition to the other one?

Hi there Gandalf

I don't think the intention was a split; I believe the forums were just a part of natural growth that often stems out of creating a website about something.

Many members here are also members of many other forums of all kinds and I don't see a problem with that since all forums have their own unique atmospheres and aspects to them.

I really like this forum, feels more.. homely rather than OF since it's so big and well, the feeling is better here. However, does anyone know of any occult/magick communities? I haven't seen any of these communities that i'm looking for, only on swedish sites. such as lunarstorm or helgon, but for only spiritual people.

Is there anything like this out there (except for maybe golden dawns private one or something.. ;D) or do i have to make one myself? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/13.gif)

I don't know about splitting. I am a member here and still post at OF as well. I am also a member of a number of other occult forums as well at yahoo groups. I see a lot of familer faces across the internet.

Btw it never rains here, the sunny smilies seem to banish, this site is positive, nothing more needs to be send, you should hang around though if you want to understand it.

Ditto for me, OFs attract a lot of weirdness, it needs a through cleansing (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wizard.gif)

with size also comes control, maybe this forum will go the same way eventually
