Well seeing as how I live in northern colorado and the times I usually meditate are at night, its usually just a bit chilly for me to meditate nude. However what I like to do is draw a hot bath, pretty hot but not so hot I can't stand it. Then I'll dim the lights, or light a single candle, before I get in the tub, maybe play some music if there is alot of outside noise and burn some incense. I have some nifty "relaxing" bath salts I'll throw in too. Once I am in the tub (nude of course) then I submerge myself so that my torso is completely underwater, except for my nose. Then I'll close my eyes and slowly breathe to relax myself. As I do this for each in hale, by body rises. When I exhale my body sinks. This produces a rythmical flow in the water that I have found to be pretty relaxing. All this together acts as a sort of sensory deprivation technique in that I am completely closed off to the outside world and my senses are all inundated. I have in a way produced a sphere of solitude as I call it. Short of banging on the bathroom door I'm turned off to the outside world.
Once I am prepared and totally relaxed I can use this as a platform for just some relaxation, or I can delve a bit deeper into astral projection or pathworking.
Then when finished (about 30 - 60 minutes) I bathe like normal just as a sort of way to cleanse and ground myself when I am done.
I have tried meditating nude before. But I never really found much difference from meditating with my cloths on. I have attempted nude meditation with a couple ex girl friends with some success. But get me naked in front of a girl I am physically/emotionally attracted to and its hard to concentrate. The times where the meditation was successful was when we simply had sex as a sort of warm up and then meditated after the fact.
