Can you describe it a little more? Was it semetrical or amorphic? Was it solid or how was it constructed? Where there any colors? Did you get any feelings from it? Can you remember any other details of the dream?

The general meaning of complex geometric patterns can relate to complex personallity, behavioral or relationship patterns and math, or more specifically geometry. Dreaming of such complex shapes may relate to the way you think, how you feel about your overall life. It might be your mind just telling that you either are or should be more creative or constructive in life. But like all symbols its litteral meaning depends on specifically what was going on with the shape and the rest of the dream and ultimately what comes to mind when you think about it.

It was in a form of a line like a drawn pentagram, I saw parts of it, but not the whole thing. I just recall 14 point. In my dream it was used to summon Gabriel's sword.

What does gabriel's flamming sword mean to you? And how do you think the image of the star relates?

Just curious...I wasn't aware that Gabriel is known for wielding a Flaming Sword! Wasn't he the one with the Horn? Now Michael was an archangel with a Flaming Sword... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mf_bookread.gif)

His sword wasn't flaming in my dream. Only thing I remembered about the sword was that the hilt had a slight curve similar to this shape. http://www.flickr.com/photos/sabertasche2/882038882

I guess he just assumed it. Anyways the subject was the star, not the sword, which has zero meaning in my book. I did come across a thing called the Grotto of the Nativity which has a 14-pointed star.

You are right...I was confused. This usually brings meto Google which I love as a search engine...
On first try it revealed the image of the fourteen pointed star in the Grotto of the Nativity (from a site about Bethlehem) (which you noted already...) and then a reference to the Malaysian flag: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Malaysia
I haven't explored very far but I love a good challenge! I will continue my exercise...perhaps there will be something soon...

There are all sorts of tiny avenues concerning the number 14 and the occult. BUT, this may not be really an occult matter! Again, I will continue!... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/egypt1.gif)

More stuff...
