Hey .... Magique_Jeune-Fille! (I wonder what that means - sounds so cool!)
Welcome! I hope this is a good place learning place for you!
Great to have you here! how did you find us?
Magick is written with a k to differentiate it with stage magic.

Magique_Jeune-Fille means magic girl... I didn't want to write that because it sounds wierd so I wrote it in french!
I got interested in gardening and found a book called "garden witchery" and in the book she talked about spells and stuff... It sounded really cool and I wanted to learn more about it.
oh, thanks for telling me!

Hey, welcome to the forums! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Magick is sometimes spelt with a k to differentiate it from stage magic, as Kinjo said, I still prefer to spell it magic though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/13.gif) It was started by Aleister Crowley I believe.

Hi there

A good place to start would be the Sacred Magick library, just familiarize yourself with names of authors and paths to start with; don't try to read everything, dip into different books to get a rough idea of what they are about, dip into the forums here and just read bits here and there, after a few weeks, you will begin to get a feel for what takes your interest.

Try googling for terms you don't understand, it will be quicker for you to do this in the beginning rather than wait for answers on the boards; in this way, you will soon build up basic knowledge of paths and systems.

Welcome (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/yahoo.gif) Welcome Magic Girl ... there is so much to learn here .... I wish there was a forum like this when I was 14 ....

Back then it was hidden wisdom ... and development teachers who would give you snippets of information when they saw fit ....

..... libraries with librarians who gave you dirty looks when you asked to be directed to the Mysteries or magic section ....

... even then the info was limited ....

So you are very fortunate ....

I'm a newy to this site too .. in truth .... and I am still finding my feet ... the other members come across as excellent purveyors of wisdom (first impression ... and I'm rarely wrong) .....

Word of advice though ... don't immerse yourself too deep into the magic stuff .. take it easy ... there is no rush to learn ... you have a whole life ahead to absorb it all ....

Concentrate on the basics first ...build firm foundations ... but once the sponge starts to fill ... it is like a gravity feed and hard to slow down ..... been there and worn the teeshirt .... many nervous breakdowns later I find myself acting as a guardian to the young ... to warn them of the pitfalls of mysticism without the grounding of a normal life background ....

..........I never had it but I was the exception ...............

..... a little younger than you I dabbled with the ouija and learnt the hard way .....

Please, please, please .... ask us older buggers for as much guidance as you can regarding what you see ... what you feel ... what you need to know ....

............ NOT BECAUSE WE KNOW MORE .... but because we are likely to have fallen down the pits that lie ahead and know the signs .... pits which are really best to avoid!!!

Good luck and happy reading ....

Tell me ... what are your interests in magic and what is it you expect to get out of it??? Set yourself goals and targets .... a little like a diary/journal ... and record all your personal thoughts in it ....

Mr Merlin ....

Hey! This life is just a dream. As in any dream the sleeper can assume control. Magic is gaining that control and using that awakening to full advantage

Married for life, to my devoted wife, who I have neglected recently but will do no more..........
