The Magus of Java is the story of John Chang. In 1988 the documentary Ring of Fire presented a startling sequence in which a Chinese-Javanese acupuncturist demonstrates his full mastery of the phenomenon of chi, or bio-energy, by generating an electrical current within his body, which he uses first to heal the filmmaker of an eye infection and then to set a newspaper on fire with his hand. The film caused thousands to seek out this individual, John Chang, in pursuit of instruction. Of the many Westerners who have approached him, John Chang has accepted five as apprentices. Kosta Danaos is the second of those five.

The Magus of Java is the story of Kosta Danao's apprenticeship with John Chang, and it is the story of the Mo-Pai, who for the past 2000 years have kept their teachings secret. Included are explanations of Chang's abilities that we in the West consider impossible.

In his years of study with John Chang, Danaos has witnessed and experienced pyrokinesis, telekinesis, levitation, telepathy, and much more exotic phenomena. He has spoken with spirits and learned the philosophy of reincarnation. Most important, he has learned John Chang's story. From what I heard from other student Me Pai (My ex gf dad) Kosta Danaos is an ungrateful foreigner to what supposed to be an exclusive chinese art and the man resented for taking all credits - not a very popular guy with other Me Pai students in Java. BUT, the first book he wrote above is pretty much well written and worth a read.

My family happened to know "John Chang" My dad and his friend who is a student since 20 years ago saw some supranatural rituals and feat in their basement such as a bright orb fell down from the concrete ceiling - manifested , then a the sound like a helicopter accompanies the orb as "John Chang's" dead teacher manifested - the copper sound turned out to be 2 lighted joss stick incense whirling in the air at high speed. Then my dad heard a buzzing sound, like "talking" bees and "John Chang" while kneeling and talking in chinese. Appearently, only John can hear his teacher's voice and the rest of the student in the room only hear the buzzing sound - like a talking bee.

My ex gf dad's is a bio energy healer by trade, a long time friend of my dad, and student of John. Believe it or not, using his chi, he can make a toothpick to burn through a metal coin almost melted like a cheese. I still keep the coin and the toothpick till now and I'll post it here when I get my digicam fixed. I've seen a video from their last meeting for "testing" where they hit a wall from 20 metres away with a bare hand - the camera zoomed in and I see a claw like mark on the wall. Pretty impressive. He also electrecute me once with his hand - in the head - and I see stars afterward.

Get the book. Even though the author is not very reputable amongst other students for his bragging and licking ability, he did wrote a good, entertaining and informative book.

Wow I didn't think they really called themselves Mo Pai assuming Mo is Mo Shu's, Huo Ru Mo's, etc.'s Mo. I thought that was a name from outsiders looking in.

With Brain Focus Energy
This video is an excerpt from the documentary film about Indonesia, "The Ring of Fire", by the respected film makers Lawrence and Lorne Blair.

This sequence highlights Lorne Blair's visit to a Taoist physician on the island of Java for treatment of an eye infection. The doctor they met (affectionately nick named "Dynamo Jack") produces electricity in his own body, which is transferred to his patients via his hands then into the acupuncture needles.

The doctor inserts 1 inch needles directly into the AMYGDALA regions in the skull (look for the needles inserted in the left and right temples), then touches the needles transferring his healing electrical energy. In the film you can see the involuntary twitches in Lorne's hands as the electricity courses through his nervous system.

The doctor then demonstrates this ability to create electrical charges, in the same manner that an electric eel shocks its prey, by shocking Lawrence through his hand. The physician remarks, "This is nothing, okay... it might burn..." The skeptical camerawoman also gets a very convincing shock by directly touching the source of the physician's current in his belly- directed usefully through his hands by his brain- the "Command Center".

In the second part, the physician describes that everyone has this latent ability, and that he only developed it through 18 years of practice by meditation. (You need your frontal lobes for this folks.) He further demonstrates the ability to concentrate this potent brain focus energy by then setting a crumpled newspaper on fire at will, merely by channeling the energy through his hand. The newspaper bursts into flames as he focuses his brain/body energy on it, holding his hand near.

I have communicated personally with Dr. Blair on several occasions, and can assure you that the authenticity of this video is beyond question, and there is no trickery or camera effects involved, nor even a motive for such.

The BRAIN -specifically guided by frontal lobes - is what directs and controls the lower body yin/yang polarity energy.
