Self explanatory title.

Have heard some people reffering to the I Ching as an Oracle rather than a Divinatory art but was wondering what the difference is, someone explained it to me but I can't recall what it was he stated, something about the use but I don't think that stands, perhaps it was that an Oracle gives answers over a divinatation being read into more internal in that sence... all in all where does Geomancy as an art stand? Is it divinatory or oracular? Going by it being consulted and relying on spirits to guide the reading it would be an Oracle... right?
