QUOTE
So I have had two dreams recently that were nothing like I have ever experienced before. Both times I weilded a tremendous amount of power after speaking words in a strange language that I don't understand. I vividly remember everything *except* for the words themselves. I know that each time they were different.
Perhaps there are things in your life you know you should be doing but are really good at talking yourself out of doing them. The other possibility is denial. Maybe you are in denial over something(s). A more positive outlook is that you are learning to utilize a charasmatic quality within yourself.
QUOTE
First Dream: Several of my friends and family were fleeing from these dark robed creatures. We were hiding in an empty underground parking facility. There is a large garage door at one end. The creatures break down the door and everyone tries to hide. They shoot fire out of their hands at my best friend, I see her screaming and I step in front, saying words I don't understand. It doesn't feel like I thought the words, like an uncontrolled utterance. I feel energy flowing through me like a ripple. The ripple goes out of me and sends the fire back to them. The creatures turn to piles of ash. I wake up.
Your friends and family are all what Carl Jung would call "dream alters" or parts of your ego that represent alternative attitudes within you that make up your entire personality. Friends and family are alters of your ego that you are familar with, you know them and understand them. They are parts of your personality you understand. They tend to be dominate qualities like moral character, optimism vs pessimism, being an introvert vs and extrovert litterally dozens of possible qualities. Some more positive than others.
The shadow figures are also alters but they are alters that represent the opposite of the alters your friends and family represent. The shadow people represent the shadow self, or the part of your personality that is hidden from your waking concsiousness. They represent things about yourself that you do not understand, that might seem frightening, or even represent qualities you are in denial over. Understand these shadow people are not "evil". In fact most shadow people represent positive qualites that we've merely forgotten or some how supressed. Their evasive apperance as "shadows" is merely parts within your own mind seeking validation and fruition. They are not seperate personalities. All alters simply represent peices of the greater puzzle that is all that is you.
When the shadows attacked your friends and family that was in a way like saying that the thing(s) they might represent are things that you feel on a subconscious level might threaten the greater ego. Its also their way of trying to get your attention.
By uttering the words that turned these shadow people to ash you, as defined by your primary self - the ego - made the shadow people go away. In other words you supressed them from fully manifesting and exposing what they really are. And they could be bad things. But things you might want to keep in mind for later dreams. They could represent something very important that you are neglecting.
QUOTE
Last Night's Dream:
Myself and several people were in this old 3 story house. We were having some meaningless conversation when the house was attacked by these vicious evil crows (Think Resident Evil 3 meets The Birds) I hid in a room that luckily had bars on the windows... the birds had broken the glass already and were trying to peck through the bars . Behind me they peck through the door, once again I feel a wave of power and speak words I don't know or understand. The birds all burst in to flame and burn up. I wake up again.
The house represents the total sum of your being. The structure is your mind's visual interpretation of your mental structure. The the levels correspond to the unconscious self, the subconscious self and the conscious self. The room that had the bars represents a personal prison, in a way. Its not a prison in the sense that you are locked up or in trouble but rather a place you go to hide. This means that the room represents a habit of running away from something(s), or a tendency to act out in a way that prevents you from having to deal with something(s) that might seem overwhelming or unpleasant. This could be anything from growing into adulthood, getting a new job, dealing with relationships and so forth.
The crows are a manifestation of the shadow people. Not they are the same thing but that they represent similar qualities. Crows by many native americans have been viewed as magical creatures and messengers of the Gods. In terms of modern psychology they can represent messengers from different (probably subconscious) areas of the mind. They also represent something(s) - could be major or incredibly minor - that you are avoiding or perhaps even just simply unaware of. Again their attack is their way of trying to get you to pay attention and learn from them.
Again the uttering the words and causing the birds to burn into ash represents supressing or avoiding what these birds mean and probably shadow people as well.
