That when they can feed uninturrupted, like say from a quarrelsome neighborhood or television that's left on 24/7 those sweet little companions of ours GROW!My sweet little green and gold friend who barely stretched around my body went missing a few days, she'd answer when I called her but never materialize at my circle room[That's a personal space that's permeanantly protected against all but friends.]anyway,I ran afoul of a certain majick user who sent one of his servants after me,I was about to unload an attack right down his throat when this beautiful golden dragon showed up and *snap*bit his link to his master and devoured his energy!

I wondered who the new dragon was until she spoke to me!she's gone a complete metamorphosis into this adult dragon, she came to explain that my neighbor had left his tv turned to a particularly tasty network while he was on vacation and she'd been there feeding since the house was empty! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/egypt1.gif)

Just wow.............

Don't worry about Genocyde Bym; he is like this all of the time - He ignores her and then doesn't recognize her when she comes home after a trip (IMG:style_emoticons/default/13.gif)

So is this a created dragon entity/servitor, or a natural dragon that has chosen to associate itself with Genocyde? I imagine that dragons are much like cats, they live with you because they want to.

Yes Mediocracy, they do choose you or agree to be with you, but it is normally for a purpose, not like coming over for tea. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bigwink.gif)

Mine is with me to assist me in magickal endeavours should I wish it; anything from basic understanding to watching my circle; however, I have to ask him to do things, since I have free will.

In reality, I rarely ask him things since I find it hard to understand his symbology and get very little language from him at all. He is more of a companion, but that is fine with me.

I was warned not to treat mine like a pet, it is tempting to do so though but I have to say that whenever I have asked him something in genuine need, he has come across with the answer in symbolic form.

My dragon and Radiant Star's are probably related.but mine has a great grasp of our language, she occasionally even understands human humor, not often however.

My friend was sent to me as a healer,a job which she does well.

I would Genocyde because he has a signature movement that is just his; in fact he does change size and shade occasionally. I think if I didn't know it was him I would be frightened by him. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/i_triangle.gif)

Greetings!
I made the mistake once of melding with my dragon without properly preparing to do so. It nearly fried my nerve synapses as I was stuck this way for about 36 hours. Not cool for either one of us, though I do think that it didn't bother him as much as it did me. Having all your senses set on overload with a few extra ones that I didn't know existed! I don't recommend it for the beginner or unless you absolutely MUST. Live and learn! My buddy didn't care for it and described the sensation as 'possessing glue/mud'! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/7.gif)

Edit addition: Normally I need glasses to see...whilst in my 'dragoned' state I could see perfectly well without them! Unfortunately that effect didn't carry over...

I don't know Nero, but I have only had mine since last September and I wouldn't have had him unless my loved one had sent him because I didn't believe in such nonsense (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

Mind you, I didn't believe in guides either until someone saw my imaginary one and gave him the correct name (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

I will see if I can find out if you have a dragon, I have seen Genocyde's dragon, she is green, or she was!

That would be excellent. I guess you could just ask your dragon about it. I used to have a gnome but I let him go back into the earth.

LOL no sorry, it is actually in another thread where I posted about an evocation of mine where I was given a gnome for a familier. Not that a dragon is the same thing, but I assume ways of communicating would be similer.

I dont see why not, My Dragon is very Celtic so runes are very apt, but I should
think it is all open to experiment, it is the intent that matters.

Ouch I can feel the pain and loss, that makes me think you must surely have
one some where, for some reason I see a baby Dragon that is very cautious
and timid, as young Dragons usually are. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/baby.gif)

My Dragon says, do the ritual and croon a lullaby softly while holding your
hand out for it to land on.

wait!

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/1238.gif) Ah yes I can see it now, really it is pale lemon yellow, it is a boy Dragon,
He will darken as he grows older but yellow will always be his main colour,
oh lucky you, if you dont want him pass him over to me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bye.gif)

Genocyde, I can relate.

I used to have a tiny cute dragon (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) , one day he totally changed on me and became bigger, taller. He became older somehow. Now I can ride on his back lol (IMG:style_emoticons/default/horse.gif)

He usually helps me in anything I need help in. Like radiantstar said, he is more of a companion to me.

Hmmm...uhhh for me I haven't really "talked" with my dragon in a while. I rememebr when I tried calling him once I forgot to introduce myself to him AND I forgot what his name was! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/06.gif) But what I rememebr of him is that his color was red to orange, inbetween I think. It would be great if I can have some help to if my dragon is around, though I KNOW he is...he might be the one who rubs my arms sometimes. So it would be great to have osme help! It's because lately I've been TOO busy with school that I don't have much time to train when I want to!

Nero, I also saw a very pale whitish looking dragon for you too, but I was told "not yet", so that may mean as Saintgeorge says that he is a bit young yet or it may mean that it is me who cannot see him yet. I am not sure, but sounds good to me.

Well I've done a ritual that Genocyde gave to me awhile back; the one using green cedar fronds. But than after doing it I came to realize that I've ALREADY met my dragon and I KNOW his name but at the same time DON'T! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/doh.gif) A few names pop up on me and so far I'm a little confused with it right now! So far the ones vthat keep poping up is "Bell" or soemthing sounding like that.

I would use Bell then as a pet name. My dragon is supposedly called Dharma, but it is only because the name was unpronouneable or I didn't hear it properly. He gets called several different things now; I think it doesn't matter once you have connected with him since the attraction is not just in the name but in the energy too I feel.

Well yesterday after I posted that I began to "talk" to him and came to an agreement with him to make things easier on me and him! We agreed that we'll use feelings/thoughts as a way to speak to eachother and use that for his name. Plus I also can now sort of "see" him as well. He's pretty big though, he is about I would say 8-10 feet wide and about 4 feet high. It also seems he can "change" his size when he travels with me. That answered some questions that I've been wondering about him such as how he could touch my right arm, while I'm facing the wall as I'm in bed.

Do I HAVE to use Bell as a pet name for him? I feel sort of offended using that on him, thinking of him as a pet. I think of him more as a companion/friend than some sort of pet. *shrugs* Well I'll just go with the feelings/thoughts of way to talk to him as of late it's been easier with me to talk that way...

No, you can connect with him in any way that works, just make sure it is him of course. My own dragon has a signature movement, that is, a particular movement that he does to confirm he is who I hope he is.

Oh alright than. I actually now know if it's him or not as he has the tendency to "shove" his claws into my shoulder blade areas and giving me sharp pains. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) But at least I know it's him...everytime he does that I just automatically know it's him. Either he does it THAT way, which I don't like sometimes, or he just...well it's hard to explain how I can tell if it's him or not. I don't know it's just that I KNOW it's him....

Why? When working with entities that one has accepted are not 'pets', surely it is only to be expected that there will be a little power play in the relationship. This may be no more than one experiences with sharing a house with a cat, they have sharp teeth and claws and an attitude (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

So do not be so hasty as to banish all those things from ones house/life that cause pain and discomfort, the rewards are probably worth it.
