i am a dragon magic practisioner like i guess most of you are and i need to know if anyone can help me wiht some problems i have.

on dragons
its about slaving spells
what they eat
how they can be freed
reasons why they are usually captured
by who they are captured
how they are captured
where they can be kept
how they are tamed

i would like to know becasue i have a statue which contains a dragon inside. this dragon is chained and cannot get free.

Let me take a stab at this...in part. How do you know that the statue has a dragon imprisoned in it? What kind of energy does the statue have around/thru it? If you can communicate with the dragon, ask it why it finds itself there. Most dragons are fairly to extremely intelligent. There has to be a reason for it being in this situation. You may not want to free it...depends on the underlying story. Try a divination to see if you can discover some answers.
My dragon feeds itself. He likes sheep...he gets the meat, I get the wool. (not always...he's been known to remark on eating sheep is like getting a meal and flossing at the same time...gross.)
Once you have determined the nature of its prison you can determine its disolution.
Not much help but someone else out there would know...perhaps GeNoCyDe or one of the others? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused012.gif)

Many Oriental temples originally used incense as a 'refined offering' to the gods; the same was/is done with dragons. The energy released through burning, as well as the scent, taste and colour of the smoke make incense a complete 'meal' for most entities.

I'm not very experienced when it comes to personal interaction with dragons, so I'll leave your other questions to the dracophiles!

I would have to agree with Bym.. be carefull!

I have had horrible experiences with entitys contained in vessels.

Definitely do some homework before opening that can of worms.

And while you are doing the research and until you are sure what
you plan to do, I would make certain to have lots of wards and protections
in place just in case.

It could be toying with you, it might not even be traped.

That should give you a clue...he'll talk if he wants out. Besides, the why may well be the clue as to how...good luck! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I wonder if there is anyway to guarentee that it is telling the true, because
once you do find out you will need to determin if you are going to even
believe what it has to say.

It could just come up with some far-out cock and bull story.. how do you really know.

This whole thing is rather suspicious.. where did you find this item?

I have some experience with entities contained in material objects, and I agree with some above posts. Perhaps it is contained for a reason.
Not imprisoned. No matter what is communicated to you from this being, do research before release.
