Tinnitus can be a symptom of other things. In itself it is not a disease, or even really a condition. Have you be tested for other known causes of tinnitus? Does it tend to interfere with your hearing at all, or is it just constant? Minor tinnitus is simply a human condition, especially in industrialized nations, but even in those that aren't. There are, for instance, meditation methods in the yoga tradition which utilize the 'noise of silence', the whisting, ringing, or whine in the ears as a focus of concentration.
I have particularly loud tinnitus myself and there was a time when if I turn my attention to it, it could drown out the noises I was percieving from my environment. I used this sound during meditation, and still do, to focus on something that isn't a thought in order to still my mind - similar to staring at a candle, but arguably much easier. The more deeply I focused, the louder the sound became. After some time I learned to control the pitch, and now if it gets to the point where it is bothering me, I can simply close my eyes, focus for a moment, and gradually lower it until it is almost gone completely. I have considered that it may be a biofeedback phenomenon, using the sound to adjust my blood pressure, or manipulate the tiny muscles around the ear canal.
A similar route is what I would suggest to you. The mental task of adjusting that noise is similar to that of adjusting the frequency of your own energy. That is to say, what you do with your will to cause the vibration of your energy to increase is like what you have to do to adjust that noise in your ear. Adjusting that vibration is, I understand, a daunting task for most, and has many benefits, one of the most practical being the health and wellness benefits. Sustaining a higher vibration for around 15 - 30 minutes will raise your mood when you are feeling depressed, angry, scared, etc.; readjusting every couple of days for about the same time will prevent most minor aches and pains, and improve your body chemistry as fewer stress hormones are present in your body.
What I mean to say in all this is that it may be you can change your own perception of this phenomenon, and try to make it work for you. In doing this you have transmuted a problem into a tool for the betterment of yourself - transmutation is the essence of magic. We some times must remember that 'doing magick' and being a magician/mage/sorcerer/whatever, are not always the same thing; magic can be a way of life, and when we attempt to involve everything in our lives in that process of living magic, ultimately we become far more than we are, certainly far more than 'spell casters'.
I think it is unecessary to try to use magic - in the sense of casting a spell or contacting some entity - to fix your problem here. And for that matter, as you said your experience with magic is limited. It may be you are simply not in a position to do what is necessary if you did want to take that route. There are any number of basic 'healing spells' you could perform, but without the experience necessary to grant efficacy to your work, it would be something like taking a pea shooter to a problem you seem to identify as a proverbial tiger.
