I'm reading Eliphas Levi's The Doctrine of the Transcendental Magic. The chapter on Tetragram (p. 19) lists some other names that are given to the Four - The Great Magical Agent, Tetragram, INRI, AZOTH, ETHER, OD, Magnetic Fluid, Soul of the Earth, Lucifer, The Cross.. etc.
I am wondering if this Tetragram is actually the same thing like Akasa (the Ethereal Principle) Franz Bardon is speaking about?
Akas(h)a is usually referred to as a spiritual record, not so much as INRI - a formula with transformational/transcendental properties.
If Bardon was referring to the Akasa as being inherently transformative, and/or transcendental- than I imagine yes, you can draw comparisons. However, I am not personally familiar with Bardon's explanation of "The Ethereal Principle", so I can't quite give you a more definite answer regarding this, as I am unfamiliar with the context in which Bardon is using that word.
