Hello,
I registered here because I found a thread in the forums about a group of people who are posing a danger to the metaphysical community and many other communities. A large group of people are currently trying to bring this group to justice. Apparently the spokesperson came to this website and tried to attack those who were telling the truth about the group. The thread I am referring to is here: http://www.sacred-magick.org/index.php?showtopic=5907&hl= and congratulations on everyone here who drove her away!
The group is known as "Creepy Hollows" and they are spitting in the face of Wicca, Magick and other sacred traditions such as Buddhism and Hinduism. One visit to their website will show this is true and infuriate true practitioners of any of the magick arts. Creepy Hollows is a leader organization that has "smaller" affiliates beneath them who are carrying out their mission. They prey on those with little knowledge of magickal practices and history. They also prey on those suffering from mental illness.
I am a Wiccan practitioner, and that is why I am very invested in exposing this group. A lot of people have been coming together over the past few months to try and expose and launch an investigation on the group. We are from all walks of life and traditions since Creepy Hollows profanes and exploits every religious and spiritual tradition under the sun. I would like to engage in dialogue with anyone who may have had negative experiences with this group, or anyone who has thoughts on bringing them to justice and preventing people from being taken advantage of. There are various groups launching or attempting investigations of Creepy Hollows, but I am personally outraged that a group like this exists and am getting the word out wherever I can. There is a blog called MetaFrauds that tackles these issues in a rather humorous way, but I think that there is more that needs to be done to raise awareness of this. When people start thinking they can buy the spirits of Gods bound to rings, or a spell that will turn them into a pegasus, our craft is doomed.
